Very quick and efficient service when we arrived .We choose the express lunch menu which was superb ,did not order a dessert as pressed for time ,not cheap but a most enjoyable lunch

I was very surprised that a restaurant of this supposed quality did not live up to my previous experience. There were very few staff on. The lights in the annex room were flickering on and off, one staff said it was happening throughout the restaurant and the other it was part of creating 'mood lighting'? We had to keep going to the till to order our food, the restaurant wasn't even busy. The food was okay but my fondant was over cooked and had no runny middle. The bill appeared before we had even finished our desserts, it was obvious the staff wanted to get home, but it was only just after 10pm. Also one of the toilets had no toilet paper. I would not go to this restaurant again.

Had to wait over an hour for the starter and were going to give up waiting for the main!

The food was amazing. The staff was nice and helpful, but given the prices and standard of the restaurant, they were really poorly trained or simply had no service skills.

The greeting we had when we arrived was so friendly, we felt the restaurant itself was very relaxed which was lovely. The food was beautifully presented and my starter of scallops was delicious, plus the breads were awesome. Two of us had the lamb which unfortunately was a little tough but the accompliments were wonderful.
The down to earth approach we had from our server made us feel extremely welcome and relaxed.
So overall a delightful experience and will definitely return.

We had the steak and lobster meal with the bottle of prosecco for £45, it was brilliant, fine dining at an affordable price.

We had the lobster and steak deal which was unbelievable. All the food was fantastic and such good value for money. The prosecco was also really nice. The waitress was very good, very efficient and lots of upselling. Over all a really nice experience. Thank you
