it was a set menu for Valentine's Day (which I wasn't told beforehand) rather pricy however the food was incredible and the staff were very attentive.

We had afternoon tea. The bread for the sandwiches was a little dry, but other than that everything was perfect. The cakes were delicious, everything was beautifully presented. We were offered more tea, and requests for other things were responded to promptly. The service was excellent, just the right degree of attention.

We had a lovely evening in a pleasant environment, very classy. Cocktails were enjoyable and served by pleasant and friendly staff.
The meal was exceptional and the service was just right, attentive but not intrusive, friendly and relaxed. The only slight criticism was that the red wine was served slightly cold and would have benefitted from being a tad warmer.
On the whole a very pleasurable and satisfying experience xx

Disappointing. I wanted a dry sherry as an aperitif but the barman seemed perplexed as if he had never heard of it. The main course was a special, steak and lobster but the lobster flesh was raw in places. Although taken away to be reheated my wife's was still raw on its return . Furthermore the accompaniments of a sauce for the steak and a vegetable did not return at all. All in all not really what I would have expected I am afraid from such a restaurant.

We had the Steak and Lobster, with a bottle Prosecco, £45 for two. It was excellent, service was excellent, food and presentation was excellent. It was a 35th wedding anniversary. They do add 10% service charge, which was less than I tipped (I added a bit more, I was more than satisfied). We had desert and coffee, which was extra and they are expensive (£9 for a desert of cheese board).
