Crafting exotic Eastern flavours in a contemporary setting, Miah’s Kitchen is housed in a discreet red brick terrace in the centre of Leeds. An on-trend dining room features sparkling mirrored walls, leather banquettes and expansive canvases.

From sizzling skewers of succulent meats to elaborate signature dishes, the Miah’s menu offers a wonderfully diverse selection. As well as an ample vegetarian range and tandoori classics finished in the charcoal oven, house favourites include aromatic ginger chicken, or wholesome king prawn saag with fresh spinach.

Traditional Indian desserts range from palate-cleansing sorbet to warm and syrupy gulab jamun, whilst a selective drinks selection is served from the bar. A bright, airy dining room at Miah’s Leeds showcases clean, cream walls, warm strokes of chocolate brown and a sky-lit ceiling.

Blending time-honoured Eastern flavours and a modern setting, Miah’s restaurant enjoys a glowing reputation in the city. Leeds Rail Station is 4 minutes’ walk away.

A very poor meal that ruined my birthday evening! There was damp on the walls right next to us, the plates were badly chipped, the service very slow, a wrong main course delivered and the lamb was incredibly tough. We asked to speak to the manager but had to wait as he was dealing with another complaint and there was another in the queue! When he eventually reached us he gave the reason for the lamb being tough as 'it was roasted'.....? The only good thing that happened was that the main courses were wiped from the bill. Overall extremely poor and I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Took my son and famiy party of 8 for dinner on his 13th birthday. He was blown away by the sophistocated atmosphere, the attentive service and the delicious food. We are frequent Indian diners, but the menu here contained several delicious specials we had never encountered before besides the old favourites. A very grown-up evening for a newly arrived teenager, and to crown it all they ended a splendid evening with a proper birthday cake! Altogether a truly memorable night out, and we will be back!

[...] We were seated 15 mins late, its clear they were over booked as there were 10-12 people waiting with us in a crowed reception area.Although the staff were polite the service was the worst I've ever experienced. Our wine glasses were dirty and had to be replaced, every single plate or dish was chipped, some was even stamped with the name of an alternate restaurant?!? Cutlery didnt match but all this wouldnt matter if the food was great.Sadly it wasnt, we waited 35 minutes from entrees to starters, so much so we had consumed a full bottle of wine. Starters we're nice, the mains were disappointing. My wifes curry was a Tika Pasanda but was clearly a pasanda and had no relevance to the description of the dish she ordered. To make matters worse it arrived with a congealed skin on it, clearly it had been stood a while awaiting service. It was barely warm. Same could not be said of our nann bread which was missing in action somewhere and arrived 10 minutes after our main course had arrived. To top things of my plates were cleared before my wife had finished eating by a over worked waiter who clearly needed our table for someone else. They did put us in a booth on our own which was nice but the experience was very disappointing given the amount of money we spent. We wont be going back.

dined on New Years Eve early evening. Free drinks at the end were a lovely touch The food is extra special, it's so hard to know what to choose and the staff are amazing

The food and service was excellent. All I would say to improve is make the main course slightly bigger.

We ordered three meals, two were good and one was very poor which my wife left, The staff were great but when my wife ordered her meal she possibly could have been told that it was a dry dish. She has had this meal in other restaurants before and it has not been dry

First time at Miah's and we ate on Sunday evening so it was relatively quiet. Food and service excellent and we will definitely be back!

Been to this place a couple of times now and i am a massive fan. The flavouring and quality of the food is second to none. Staff are always welcoming and the place has a great atmosphere. If you are going Friday - Sunday definatly book as it gets extreamley busy. This for me is the best indian in Leeds.
