Passable, not brilliant. Young children in dining room after 19:00 (one quite noisy). Large German party dining too, very well behaved. Waitress very good - attentive but not pushy. The soup I had was excellent but the main, a prawn red curry, was far from authentic if it was meant to be Thai. My wife's starter of the "Chef's signature cod cakes" was very ordinary for a signature dish but was full of cod. Her main of sea bream was pretty good. The Chilean Sauvignon Blanc we chose was very goos and served at the right temperature but was a bit pricey for this quality.

l don't know where to start !, it was the worst meal we have ever had ,we went there because are daughter got engaged and we treated them to Leeds fireworks and hotel stay at the great Danes mercure as we have been to many mercures over the years and have always found them very good, the hotel was fine but the dining experience was a experience out of forty towers , we had to wait 45min for our starters, then when they arrived there were only 2 and mine and my daughters was just soup but was told they have run out and would have too put some more on, so we did not eat with my wife or our son in law to be, next dinner well !!! our son in law to be ordered the lamb 2 ways, but you could not even cut it when we told the waitress she took it back to the kitchen to be told it was a bad cut and would you like any thing else so he had the curry but because he was looking forward to the lamb it was not the same, but then 30mins later the next table was served the lamb after being told it was a bad cut and there was no more ? my dinner l ordered the stake and ordered well done please, when it turned up 45mins later it was nearly cold, so took it over to the manager, he said he would change it, then when he got to our table there was a crash with the waitress and my meal went flying over the next guest back, then when my steak came back a 3rd time was very pink inside so just give up the will to live and left it all , l think you need to have a very hard look at the restaurant or eat before you go ,

Well what can I say, my husband and I keep going back it's become our regular dining out favourite place to go, the staff are lovely very friendly and helpful. The food is always presented in professional way and the portion sizes are just right. The food is amazing and we haven't been dissapointed yet. I highly recommend dinning at the Brassiere.
