the only difficulty was the fact the waitresses spoke vey quickly and didn't make a big effort to explain the menu with simple words.

Easy to find just behind Oxford Circus tube; service was the best we have experienced in a long while in a restaurant. We were celebrating a birthday and the waiter was really attentive & helpful with recommendations. The majority of our group had a thali; butter chicken the best. The only negative was they could not go off menu or make it slightly different I.e.we wanted a potato dish without the cabbage but they could not accommodate; however it did not spoil our meal. Drinks are expensive but to be expected in central London. It was nice that they had a children's thali but not much for choice - perhaps a bit more variety/choice.

This was our first visit to the Soho branch following the renovations. Overall I think they lend to a lovely ambience, very thoughtfully decorated. Our host was excellent, very warm and welcoming and the staff that served us equally very good and responsive. What really wowed us was the thalis that we had - they were absolutely delicious! We will come back :)

Great Restaurant! The atmosphere was nice, the food delicious and the waiters friendly. They even explain to you the different dishes and make sure you're completely satisfied. I especially enjoyed the nonalcoholic cocktails.
Overall perfect dinner location!
