With the River Thames flowing nearby, Marlow Bar & Grill serves prime British steaks, fresh fish and great wine. Inspired by the town’s boating history, teak tables and polished wooden floors lend a nautical feel, while navy blue accents highlight an intimate covered terrace ideal for al fresco dining.

Proud to use the finest hand-selected British beef, The Marlow Bar & Grill’s cuts are aged for maximum flavour. From rump to Chateaubriand to share, the meat is joined by tuna au poivre and lobster on the Marlow Bar & Grill menu.

The bar is well-stocked with liqueurs, draught and bottled beers, plus long fruity cocktails and martinis to enjoy on the deck. The monochrome photography lining the walls adds a hint of nostalgia to the interior, complementing classic British braised daube of beef or kiln smoked Scottish salmon, prepared before you in the open kitchen.

On the High Street, The Marlow Bar & Grill restaurant is easy to find. It’s a 9-minute walk from Marlow Train Station.

Friendly welcome. Delicious food. The dessert was brought with congratulations piped beautifully on the plate with a lit candle and happy birthday sung. A really lovely evening

Extremely welcoming. Got there a little early for 8pm meal, but had a nice sit down in lounge area. Meal was great, maybe a little more taste in the mushrooms but everything else was executed brilliantly.

Our table wasn't ready when we arrived and we struggled to get to the bar to get a drink with all the people sat round it. The food was nice although I ordered a knickerbocker glory for dessert which was not only over priced was basically raspberry sorbet with chocolate ice cream not what I would call a knickerbocker glory. In all I would say the food and service was good but nothing fantastic

Always good service and reasonable quality of food at this restaurant. I had said in the booking that one of our party was gluten free - when we arrived they brought a special gluten free menu without us asking. The only criticism was that the minute steak was a touch on the cold side - other than that, a very enjoyable lunch.

We are regular customers but overall a disappointing evening, my starter , the crab special was a very small portion and very over priced at £9.50. My daughters crispy duck main course arrived as a confit , not crispy at all! Had to send it back to the kitchen to be properly cooked. My T bone steak was VERY well hung and had a very strong flavour. My single espresso arrived cold unlike my Armagnac that was too warm! As I said a very disappointing meal , felt a bit rushed as apparently the table was required back for 9.30 but no sign of any waiting customers when we left.

We booked the meal a while back as it was my wife's 40th and she had one of the best steak's ever at your restaurant the last time we came ann wanted to repeat the meal and experience. My wife and I, by the way, eat at some very good restaurants and my wife often goes to Michelin starred places to take clients so for yoru steak to be so good was high praise indeed. We rang back after we had a message to confirm the booking and the manager was very good putting us in the back area which was less manic and a bit more spacious. Your hummus starter was some of the best either of us has ever had and the whitebait was good though not great. I would have preferred them cooking a touch longer though it was good in general. My wife was NOT disappointed with the USDA steak and she said it was as good as the first time though it initially came out cold. The manager dealt with it immediately and was apologetic so no harm done. My normal fillet was probably a little under-cooked as I asked for medium but got medium-rare and some areas were pink. I would have ordered the USDA sirloin had it been available but it wasn't. That said, it was my wife's birthday and she was delirious which was the main thing. We will always come to you from now on for food during a stay to Marlow and we are due again in July. Again, to give it a comparison, we have been to the Hand & Flowers 3 times and do not think the overall experience is as good as it is at The Marlow Bar & Grill.

All six meals well received. My warm duck salad starter was delicious and the fish pie was enough for two. All in all a very good evening but not cheap as we had three bottles of wine.
