With the River Thames flowing nearby, Marlow Bar & Grill serves prime British steaks, fresh fish and great wine. Inspired by the town’s boating history, teak tables and polished wooden floors lend a nautical feel, while navy blue accents highlight an intimate covered terrace ideal for al fresco dining.

Proud to use the finest hand-selected British beef, The Marlow Bar & Grill’s cuts are aged for maximum flavour. From rump to Chateaubriand to share, the meat is joined by tuna au poivre and lobster on the Marlow Bar & Grill menu.

The bar is well-stocked with liqueurs, draught and bottled beers, plus long fruity cocktails and martinis to enjoy on the deck. The monochrome photography lining the walls adds a hint of nostalgia to the interior, complementing classic British braised daube of beef or kiln smoked Scottish salmon, prepared before you in the open kitchen.

On the High Street, The Marlow Bar & Grill restaurant is easy to find. It’s a 9-minute walk from Marlow Train Station.

This place was recommended to us and we found all the staff, but in particular Alex who waited at our table, to be attentive but not intrusive. The food was generally good. We had been told we needed to vacate the table after 2 hours so were conscious of this, but when it came to it we did not actually need to move as they didn't need the table. The toilets were did not match the standards of the rest of the restaurant; the were 2 (ladies) toilets one of which had no lock and the other no toilet paper and the men's (I am told) looked dirty. Generally a good experience.

Great food. The fish was amazing. The Maltesers ice cream is in itself worth the visit!

    Really Off Their Game.
Irritating service last evening, have eaten here before and it was okay but last night was a pain. Just wanted a pleasant evening and not wanted to have to chase things.
The "trainee" waiter was excellent and was trying but the others, all half asleep and lackadaisical. I also felt the food we chose this time overpriced. £18 for a rack of ribs and fires were extra! Oh well, a real shame as I wanted to be a regular here. Will give them another try in a few months.

Great restaurant, friendly and helpful staff and great food! Try the crispy duck with Chinese greens or any of the Fish dishes. Steaks are also great. Finish with the Maltesers ice cream! I loved the Apple and Ginger mohito.
