Good food. Great location outside in the courtyard at the back.

With the River Thames flowing nearby, Marlow Bar & Grill serves prime British steaks, fresh fish and great wine. Inspired by the town’s boating history, teak tables and polished wooden floors lend a nautical feel, while navy blue accents highlight an intimate covered terrace ideal for al fresco dining.
Proud to use the finest hand-selected British beef, The Marlow Bar & Grill’s cuts are aged for maximum flavour. From rump to Chateaubriand to share, the meat is joined by tuna au poivre and lobster on the Marlow Bar & Grill menu.
The bar is well-stocked with liqueurs, draught and bottled beers, plus long fruity cocktails and martinis to enjoy on the deck. The monochrome photography lining the walls adds a hint of nostalgia to the interior, complementing classic British braised daube of beef or kiln smoked Scottish salmon, prepared before you in the open kitchen.
On the High Street, The Marlow Bar & Grill restaurant is easy to find. It’s a 9-minute walk from Marlow Train Station.

Disappointing food. Seafood (lobster) warmed warmed through, rather than cooked. I couldn't have my steak rare because they are apparently prepared in advance as medium, then re-heated!! Not impressed.

This was my first visit to Marlow Bar & Grill. We had to wait a while to be acknowledged and seated when we arrived and were then seated in the orangery area of the restaurant which acoustically was very noisy. Our waiter was very knowledgable and attentive and overall the food was very tasty although the presentation could have been better. The general decor throughout was very tired and dated which was very disappointing. This restaurant desperately needs updating!

Food was as usual excellent. The service however was just about acceptable and the restaurant decor is looking in need of updating.

We arrived a party of 5 at 2.30pm on a hot sunny day in May, we were greeted with a very friendly style. We had a drink then asked if we could go to out table. Unfortunately due to the time they only had lamb left on the Sunday roast which is what my daughter and l shared, unfortunately when it arrived the lamb was tough we had a job to cut it, which was very disappointing, potatoes felt they had been cooked way in advance.
My husband had the fillet steak my granddaughter had rump streak and my daughters partner had the burger, all these dishes were far better than the roast.
