MARKET sits in the heart of Regency Brunswick on the Brighton and Hove border. Designed to feel like a traditional market, MARKET restaurant and bar serves delicious food all day every day.

The MARKET restaurant and bar menu promotes sharing with a variety of exciting small plates such as goats’ cheese churros with white truffled honey. Larger dishes include MARKET classics and daily specials such as fish and steak of the day. Finish with an inventive dessert, like baked popcorn cheesecake with salted popcorn and praline.

The food at MARKET in Hove is influenced by Mediterranean, American and British flavours to create a modern approach to locally sourced produce. From the bar, watch the chefs at work in the open kitchen.

Brunch and Sunday roasts are on offer every weekend. MARKET is a 20-minute walk from both Hove and Brighton railway stations.

Staff were brilliant - really accommodating even though we were running late. Food, as always, was fab - I thought the tapas was unbeatable, but then I tried your roasts! Special mention for the Lemon Posset dessert as well!

The food was excellent again ! The service was also friendly and charming even though we arrived late and clearly had had few drinks ! They even upgraded us to bigger table to fit all the food on and make us more comfortable

Good tapas restaurant, had small plates of simple but delicious foods served by helpful and friendly waitress. Whole experience was quick, efficient and will come back and eat here again.

Food good, however wasn't too happy about sitting at the bar. I made the booking a while ago & was expecting to be sitting at a table. In future I will request a table as the bar option is not very private/not conducive to chatting. Only negative about the meal was the portion of paprika chips - presumably forgotten as they arrived when we had finished eating & had been microwaved, however we pointed this out & they were removed from our bill.

We visited Market Restaurant and Bar for Sunday lunch and we loved it! They offer their usual tapas dishes plus several Sunday roast options, and we decided to go down the tapas route, starting with delicious oysters and cava. We followed this with the Chef's Meat and Cheese Platter and some Cheese Croquettes, then the Red Mullet and the Pork Belly, washed down with a couple of glasses of excellent Rioja. Feeling quite full, we still managed to make room for the Bakewell Tart and the Lemon Posset, and I'm mighty glad we did! Scrumptious! The glass of Pedro Ximenez which accompanied the desserts was heavenly too.
The service was extremely good. We sat at the counter (highly recommended if you like to see what's going on) and the team looked after us well. They were friendly, attentive and well-informed.
All in all, a very pleasant way to while away a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. We will be going back!
