Mixing NYC chic and timeless Italian charm, Marco’s New York Italian comes courtesy of the ‘godfather’ of modern cooking, Marco Pierre White. Retro stateside décor in the dining room includes smooth cream leather, a chequered floor and a glossy bar lined with towers of bottles.

Served with signature MPW flair, the Marco’s menu mixes sumptuous Italian favourites and timeless North American staples. Enjoy rigatoni with New York meatballs, or a freshly-fired pizza with a range of classic toppings. Juicy burgers, hot dogs and ribs are all served with lazy fries and crunchy homemade slaw, and crisp salads and sumptuously simple antipasti dishes are also on offer.

Thick, straw-slurping shakes, fruity cocktails and a selective wine list are offered at the Marco’s bar, alongside rich coffees and a lengthy stock of chilled international beers. For dessert, indulge in baked NYC cheesecake, Marco’s signature tiramisu, or semifreddo with fresh raspberries.

A family-friendly hideaway, Marco’s restaurant in Exeter offers nostalgic dining with a modern twist. Hampton by Hilton Exeter Airport hotel sits just next door.

We took our daughter for her 25th birthday, in total a party of 8. Frankly we were disappointed possibly because our expectations were quite high because this being a restaurant bearing the Marco Pierre White name brand . The first gripe was that we had to keep leaving our guests to go to the bar to order drinks, obviously we feel a more attentive service would have taken the drinks orders at the table. The second gripe was the three guest who ordered the Italian burgers found them virtually inedible because of the salt content, this was made worse by the fact that one of these guests was the birthday girl and one of the other guests was her dad who was paying for this birthday treat ! Overall not the best dining experience.

The dining experience was excellent. It is a pity that the restaurant overlooks the car park, had it been on the other side of the building the diners could enjoy excellent countryside views. A good venue for the winter when it is dark. It wouldn't be my choice during the summer for an alfresco lunch or early dinner. We know the area, but thought the signage was awful, a large sign is required at the road junction where you turn into the airport terminal and short stay car park. It is unlikely that you will pick up any passing trade.!!!

Nice restaurant. Bit difficult to get to but guess it serves the cabin crew at the airport. Good value in restaurant and plenty of choice. Not really an evening venue as its a bit like a fast food restaurant but great for a lunch or business meeting

We went yesterday for an anniversary meal we had excellent service and thought the staff were very friendly and polite. The food was to die for, we had the rib eye steak which was the best steak we'd both tasted, followed by the chocolate truffle dessert which was amazing. We ordered a bottle of wine to share which was really nice. Overall the food was the best I've ever tasted and although a tad pricey worth every penny for a special occasion, my only criticism if I had to would be that if you have a table for two there is so little space between you and the next table your almost sitting on the same table and it's hard to have a private/intimate meal or conversation. Never less it was a excellent experience.

The food was absolutely fantastic and very good value. The service was also very good, all staff very friendly. My only criticism is that the tables for two are a little too close together meaning you can't have a conversation without the table next to you hearing every word, and vice versa. But overall a great dining experience and I will definitely be booking again.
