Marco Pierre White Wheeler's Oyster Bar & Grill Room blends seafood favourites with grill classics, fresh oysters and fine wines. The restaurant and adjoining bar are housed in a grand building in the heart of the City on Threadneedle Street.

Building on the traditions of the historic Wheeler’s restaurant, the Wheeler’s Oyster Bar & Grill Room menu is packed with timeless classics. From the fish options, try the classic fish pie, organic salmon kedgeree, or fried haddock with triple-cooked chips and marrowfat peas. Grill favourites include dry-aged steaks with a choice of sauces, veal entrecote with sauce béarnaise, or the 10oz ribeye Boston style, served with oysters.

Complete with chandeliers, red leather seating and ornately patterned roof lights, the restaurant is a fittingly grand setting for the fine food. From the bar, sample the lengthy list of wines, champagnes and cocktails.

In the heart of the capital’s bustling business district, Wheeler’s Oyster Bar & Grill Room London is a 3-minute walk from Bank Tube Station.

Amazing! One of the best high tea I have ever had! Friendly and professional staff. The most beautiful design and looks of the restaurant and lounge.

Great afternoon tea in a lovely grand room with high glass ceiling. Our waiter was perfect and sorted all our needs, asking if we wanted any more tea. The food itself was very rich and gave lots of sweet treats and desserts. Would have preferred more sandwiches but overall, the selection was lovely.

Lovely setting , comfy chairs and lots of space so you didn't feel squashed in. Good variety of sandwiches and cakes , though one was on the dry side. Only disappointment was I had asked for a few of the cakes we couldn't fit in to be packed up for us to take home. They never appeared. One member of staff tried to track them down. He did pack some scones for us but I was looking forward to the delicious looking fruit cake. Shame as it was my birthday.

The musical menu was not worth it. The staff had not participated in the experience themselves, couldn't explain anything about it, and rather than having something like headphones at the table (like the picture on the websites where this experience was announced) which I though would be something different and fun- we were expected to be influenced by the ambient restaurant soundtrack which we could hardly hear!

We had a wonderful afternoon having afternoon tea at Wheelers. The staff were lovely, attentive but not overly so. Really lovely surroundings. Reasonably priced.

Very nice food (fresh, home made) and atmosphere. The service was quite good as well just sometimes we needed to look for them. The place was quite empty but calm which is great in London.

Disappointing. It was nothing like the Wheelers I knew in the 70's. Limited choice of fish and the partridge entree was dry and flavorless

Afternoon tea was lovely! Staff were great and accommodating to my requests. The atmosphere was nice and I felt very relaxed. It was very clean and I loved the dome!
