This was a newly opened restaurant with much local hype. The starter of beetroot with goat's cheese was very disappointing with a layer of thinly slice beetroot, cubes of chess and some walnuts. It lacked some sort of dressing (in our opinion). Main course of fish pie was OK but lacked some flavour. Not sure if there was or should have been some smoked fish in there, but it would have improved the dish. Steak was fine but the accompanying sauce had 'split. Side vegetables fairly dull. Rice Pudding was delicious! Will try again in a few weeks.
