From the youngest chef ever to hold 3 Michelin stars, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill Newcastle is a cornerstone of modern British dining. An on-trend dining room features a retro bar, and funky 1960’s-style furnishings.

Blending nostalgic British flavours and the chef’s celebrated culinary flair, the Marco Pierre White menu offers a classic steakhouse selection. As well as perfected signature dishes like Marco’s fish pie or fish of the day sourced fresh from the market, chunky cuts of native breed steaks are served with sumptuous garnishes.

In the boldly decorated dining room filled with funky block colour, enjoy deliciously cooling cocktails and fined wines from the bar. For dessert, Marco Pierre White Newcastle offers old-school classics including a signature take on sherry trifle, or decadent sticky toffee pudding.

Perfectly in sync with its cosmopolitan surroundings, Marco Pierre White restaurant is housed in the luxurious Hotel Indigo Newcastle. Newcastle Central Rail Station is a 5-minute walk away.

Manager and staff very attentive and helpful , nothing was a problem to them even when we asked to change our seatsite.

Not a good start, girl at main desk on phone taking bookings and didn't even acknowledge us - another lady came over and asked if she could take any coats or jackets, not particularly friendly or welcoming. All seven of us were squeezed in to an oval shaped booth with very little room. Waited about 15 minutes then were asked if we were ready to order "Drinks or Food?" we asked to which she replied "I can take both now". "What bottled beers do you have?" to which she replied "I don't know, let me go and check"
Food was ok but nothing to write home about and my colleagues T Bone steak was about half the size of mine and had never at any time been anywhere near 16oz. in it's life.
In summary, this is not somewhere I'd be rushing back to in a hurry and by comparison is nowhere near the likes of Blackfriars, The Broad Chare, or even The earl of Pitt Street.

The staff were fantastic, great service and knowledgeable about the food. Warm bread then starters and excellent fish for main course. Will definitely be going back

I have been here a couple of times now for afternoon tea and it never disappoints. It's always a great selection and the food tastes great! I have never visited this restaurant for a main meal but plan to do social soon as looking around at the tables, the food looked divine.
