Marco Pierre White, the youngest chef to hold 3 Michelin stars, brings his steak venture to Hinckley, serving classic British-meets-French dishes with a contemporary influence. All steaks are sourced from within 50 miles of the restaurant.

The Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill menu offers a wide variety of delicious dishes. Start with a land or sea platter before choosing between a huge choice of chunky cuts of succulent steak or a hearty cheeseburger. The macaroni of lobster provides a luxury version of the old school classic. Having started your feast with a delicious cocktail you can finish it off with Marco Pierre White’s favourite childhood pudding, the classic knickerbocker glory with raspberries.

Marco’s steakhouse is a light, bright setting for a quick bite to eat at lunch or a lengthier dinner which can be enjoyed amidst the luxurious décor.

Found in the Hinckley Island hotel, the restaurant, which prides itself on its spacious conservatory, is situated just outside the Leicestershire town of Hinckley.

was very disappointed with my starter, lobster pasta, pasta was ok, but the lobster was invisible, all u got was 2 minuscule pieces, which was a shame as the rest of the meal was very good and the service could not be faulted, but what i dont agree with is the addition of a service charge to the bill, i like to leave what i deem is a fair reflection on my experience.

Truly awful - Cold plates - hair in food - drinks orders forgotten about - Sweets took 35 minutes to arrive - bar area left un-cleared. I expected more.

It was the first and last time I will visit this so called restaurant,

The staff were excellent but the food was dissappointing - much better on my last visit. The onion soup was tasteless and the lobster macaroni (most expensive thing on menu) had no lobster in it except a large chewy mass of what looked like innards!

We were expecting a beautiful meal due to the higher prices and obviously being MPW. But it was overpriced and probably one of the worst meals out we have had in a while. We ordered the land platter to start, the duck pate was tasty but unfortunately the ham was bland and tasteless and the scotch egg was greasy.
We then ordered the coq and prawn curry and my wife had the Kiev, the curry was good but the Kiev at £17.50 was awful!! The chips were cheap and over cooked so they weren't eaten and the Kiev was dry!
We had the cheeseboard for desert, again at £8.50 the portion size was for a mouse.
Overall the only good thing was the service! The food was poor at best and then to automatically stick a 10% service charge on the bill was adding salt to the wound.
I won't be recommending the restaurant in actual fact I would recommend to not go,
