Excellent service throughout and good quality food and wine, although wine was a bit pricey. Presented a little birthday cake with a rendition of 'happy birthday' from the waiters. Steak was delicious as were the very fishy fish cakes.

Overall the food was good, starters nice & deserts great. We both had steak but felt with the 3 course for £25 there shouldve bn a side included. We paid extra for chips & veg,if we hadnt there wouldve been JUST streak on plate! My husband paid £4 extra also for 10oz rump but it was actualy quite chewy/gristly so disappointing. The cocktails were ok but nothing special & our waiter wasnt very attentive. We had worst table in the room & we felt as we were on this offer they didnt bother with us.Cost £70 in the end as service charge & we only had tap water so bit disappointed.

We had an absolutely fantastic time from the moment we arrived. We celebrated my dear friends 30th birthday and all of us were looked after with so much care. Our glasses were always topped up, I was offered extra toast with my duck confit and the steak was cooked to perfection. The 'cherry on the top' was when they brought out my friends dessert, sang to her and had written Happy Birthday on her plate in delicious chocolate sauce.
I would highly recommend the restaurant for any occasion as you know you can guarantee great service & yummy food.

great food, friendly staff, good service. Had the London Festival Restaurant Offer 2 courses for £20 but side dishes are an extra £4 each. So it's at least £30 a head without wine. Could only stay for 2 hours on a Friday night; understandable as it was busy, but they didn't rush us. Good choice of sauces for steak, but wish they had garlic butter.
