We picked this restaurant as it was near Liverpool street station to finish off a lovely day trip to London. The service and food were first class and was very good value. The price was a little more than £25 with service charge and side dish with steak as no chips/salad were included. There was enough chips to share though. We would go again.

Fabulous, perfect food and excellent quality and value. Lovely surroundings with pretty trained waiters!

Steak good (although my rare was more like med rare) and friendly waiting staff, however, a few gripes: no handcream in the Ladies (normally provided nowadays), chips were very ordinary (prefer double-fried), green side salad meagre and poorly dressed, a bit shabby: two waiters' ties (neckties) were stained and Ladied loo doors very scratched and worn. Music was way too loud - suited to diners in their 20s or 30s perhaps but NOT for us diners in our 50s! When we mentioned the music volume to our waiter he kind of shrugged and laughed.
