Really like the place. Great aperitif, the steal was excellent, fat triple cooked chips fantastic, and service spot on. Wine list a bit patchy.

Very friendly service and delicious dinner. Watch the expensive side dishes and avoid the average wine by the glass at £10. Keep to ordering bottles or have cocktails!

Service was exemplary. In the event I arrived 15 minutes early and my lunching companion 15 minutes late. This was handled beautifully, as was the fact that one of the set menu dishes was unavailable.
The food was entirely beautiful and unusually for set menus the portions were of a good size. The cocktails, which neither of us had tried before were simply wonderful.
I read a review saying drinks were expensive. This was not the case. Very satisfied with the quality and value of the wine we had

The atmosphere was great and the staff were very attentive. Food was amazing, the rump steak was cooked exactly to my request the creamed potatoes were the best I've ever tasted!

Unfortunately my visit this time was a huge disappointnent. The steak was tough as old boots, the service poor due to the fact that the staff had little command of the Englush language and the Manager to whom I pointed out the poor quality of my meat was aggressive and lacked charme. All of this kills the place. I won't be going back. There are too many other more upmarket and sophisticated restaurants to chose from.

As soon as I walked in I loved the feel and vibe of the place. The decor was stylish, quite small and intimate. However I couldn't understand why when we arrived at 12.30pm on a Saturday lunch time, and the restaurant was relatively empty, why they seated us so close next to another occupied table, and one which was so close even the staff struggled and apologized to pass to serve us. Both they and we were constantly apologising for joshing each other and this could have been so easily avoided. But in saying this we had lovely time. The service was impeccable, the cocktails devine, my rump steak was a little tough, but it was rump. All in all, it was a great, if expensive, lunch.
