Fantastic food, great service and all round excellent atmosphere- highly recommended. £4 for a bottle of still water was too expensive, but overall very happy.

When putting your well established name to a restaurant such as Marco Pierre White has done, then the standards need to be top class. Certainly the beef served in this steakhouse is of good quality which is just as well after a disappointing starter. The shredded salt beef was exactly that and far too salty, the gravadlax again of good quality was not enhanced by a mustard sauce which was barely discernable from plain mayonnaise. The Cambridge burnt cream desert was a good creme brulee. The service was very good but overall very little to distinguish this steakhouse from other restaurants and a chef with a heavy hand on the salt!

The actual restaurant seemed a little bit dated, but the staff were great & the food was good.
We had the £25 deal which was 3 courses & a cocktail which was very good value.
The starter I chose was quite basic but still tasty & the desserts were good but nothing amazing.
However the house steak was fantastic & was really happy with the quality.
All in all a very pleasant meal.

Very obliging, as held up in traffic and late for reservation. Very pleasant surroundings & courteous staff

The restaurant is quite small and intimate but they have made good use of the space available. The staff were friendly and attentive and so we could not fault the service, and the food was simply delicious. We chose the ribeye steaks (naturally) and they were cooked to perfection with very tasty sides available. As we dined on the special deal, we found it excellent value for money.

Booking the restaurant online was very easy and effective on here. However, we were very disappointed with the restaurant, and found the food incredibly average for the price paid. The offer specifies a 3 course meal for 2 people, for £50. It is important to bare in mind that this includes no sides, so for me would have meant having a steak on it's own, with each side costing a minimum of £5, which significantly adds to the bill (doubles it).
Overall, I would not recommend Kings Road Steakhouse & Grill (Marco Pierre White) and will definitely not be returning.
