The Marco Grill menu combines fine British produce and culinary flair. Along with classics like fish & chips and 7 different cuts of steak, signature dishes include corn-fed chicken breast and slow-cooked navarin of lamb. Amongst the steak options, enjoy the 28oz Porterhouse, a succulent 35oz Tomahawk, plus many more fantastic cuts. The restaurant also offers a special menu on match days.

A range of British stouts, ales and ciders are served with pride at Marco Grill restaurant, as well as an extensive wine and cocktail list. Match-day menus and light bar snacks are popular, and there are classic British desserts like Eton mess.

Food was good, portion size a little disappointing

Only had breakfast service poor. Waited half hour for 1slice of toast.

Steaks were tender and juicy, worth the price. Starters of scallop & black pudding were very good. Not very many choices of dessert, however most of them we tried and isn't much we did not like. Only criticism is the coffee cup handles were poorly designed, you could not pick the cup up as the ring on the handle was too small to put your finger through! Marco, please change those coffee cups, they were a tad silly to serve hot drinks in.

Manager suggest us to order the distiller water or sparkling water after ordering the main course. We ask the waitress for the price of the distiller water and request her to provide the drink menu for selection another drink instead of the the distiller water. We can't find the non-alcoholic drink. Finally, we ask the waitress whether any other choice of non-alcoholic drinks, she is very polite and patient to answer and serve our request.

Good restaurant, a solid choice for Thursdays due to their Steak Club offer. Ambiance is great, good food, nice staff.

Nice atmosphere and great food. We had the 28oz steak and it tasted delicious. Service was fine too.

Restaurant is in a great location and is well presented on the inside. The food is very good, especially the steaks and it can be a very good meal with a tastecard as that gives you 50% off the whole meal.

However, a discretionary service charge of 12.5% is added to the bill and it can be a rather large amount as it is 12.5% of the full bill before tastecard is accounted for. This isn't too much of an issue as you can always ask to reduce it or take it off completely.

The biggest problem I have with this place is that the menu clearly states that all prices include VAT. Once the bill came, I realised they added extra VAT on top of my food bill. I questioned the waitress on this matter who seemed entirely clueless and made up excuses on the matter. In hindsight I should've asked to speak to management about this issue as charging VAT twice is clearly not legal and this has very much tainted my view on this restaurant.

The food is great and with a tastecard it can be very good value for money but sneaky charges such as the service charge and 'double VAT' left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
