Pulled chicken is he best thing in his place, it's the same consistency as pulled pork which I've never had anywhere else! The gravy is awesome as well.
The restaurant is small but cosy and clean. Staff are good and it's table service.

Aptly found on Beak Street, Ma Plucker Soho serves up deep south-inspired fried chicken alongside classic American sides, craft beers and cocktails. Afternoon tea at Ma’ Plucker offers a quirky stateside take on British tradition.

The Ma Plucker menu is all about chicken, with diners choosing a base, a sauce and a cooking style. Served with a house bun, maple waffle or fresh salad, chicken comes 3 ways – rubbed and roasted chipotle chicken from the rotisserie, crispy coated buttermilk chicken, or hickory-spiced pulled chicken. Crispy coated halloumi cheese offers an enticing vegetarian option, whilst sweet and salty popcorn sundae, and classic apple pie are amongst the desserts.

Beginning with a boozy iced tea, followed by unlimited regular iced tea, The Ma Plucker afternoon tea swaps sandwiches for mini burgers including pulled chicken in a brioche bun, and crispy coated chicken with maple waffle and a maple and chilli glaze. The likes of chocolate and corn flake Scotch egg, and mini cakes complete the indulgent experience.

In the heart of Soho, Ma Plucker London is a short walk from Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus Tube stations.

Came through bookatable restaurant week where we were offered 2 courses and a drink for £15 each. When we got there and asked what that included it turned out that the cost of things on the menu added up to £15 so we were not getting an offer after all. We questioned it and the staff were clueless having to go off to their manager several times. Finally we were offered more things and felt like we were getting a deal so we placed our order.

After half an hour of waiting a staff member came over and asked if everything was ok... We responded that we were still waiting for our food. After 10 minutes another staff member comes to us and asks us to remind them what we ordered. They go off to the kitchen and we hope that our food will come any time soon.

We then end up seeing a load of takeaway orders go out the door and see other people that ordered after us get their food so it was clear that our order had been lost in the kitchen...

20 minutes later a different staff member came to us asking for us to clarify our order again at which point we had had enough and requested to leave.

Our order was very small and not complex so I just don't see how they could have messed it up. It felt like we were deliberately being messed around because we came to the restaurant with a deal and that we questioned it's value.

It's a real shame we had to leave with empty stomachs as from the other reviews we had seen, the food was great and were really looking forward to trying it, despite the bad reviews of service. Well the service was so bad I just cannot recommend this place to anyone.

I booked at table for Monday evening at 6.30pm and the place was empty so we had a choice of where to sit the waiting staff were very nice and friendly and helpful explaining the menu but unfortunately I was very disappointed they did not have any rotisserie chicken which was what I was looking forward too. With the help of the waitress I chose the buttermilk chicken and Halloumi bun with fries which was very nice and the doughnuts with ice cream which were delicious, my friend had the chicken wings with waffles and mash and Cherry Pie which she was very disappointed with as it was not as tasty it was a bit bland. The prosecco was served in water glasses and you probably got more than you would if it was served in flutes.
The waitress brought us a fried mac & cheese ball on the house which was a nice gesture.
Unfortunately the tables are very close together and there were two ladies both on their phones facetiming which was very loud and annoying they had no consideration for other dinners.
I probably won't be going back as I have been to better chicken shops!

I've been waiting to try Ma Plucker for a while now and the experience was lacklustre. Our food order was competing with takeaway orders. It was irritating to see delivery drivers hanging around the shop front questioning if the orders were ready to go, only to see a stream of 30 plus orders takeaway bags go out the door when no one in the restaurant had been served for at least 45 mins. Our food finally arrived after an hour wait. The food was ok, but not worth an hour late. The buttermilk chicken and coleslaw is recommended. I'm willing to give it a second chance but with so many other restaurants to choose from, Ma Plucker is not high on the list.

Thoroughly enjoyable! The dishes are succulent and loved the crunchy coated chicken in a bun with Haloumi and salad.
    Perfect chicken burger for us.

We had the afternoon tea and it was very original and very nice. The fried chicken/waffle combination was particularly liked.

Not really a restaurant, server wasn't sure about what was being offered on specials board, food took ages and they ran
Out of haloumi for the main course salad. Benches to sit on extremely hard and uncomfortable. Would maybe go for a quick lunch, but not really a place for a dinner.

This place is good old fashioned comfort food with style! Chicken and waffles to die for and the booziest ice tea you will find in Soho! The staff are super friendly too! I went for afternoon tea with a friend and it was so good we brought a whole group of friends back for post happy hour dinner the same day! Love it!
