Within the exclusive Malmaison Manchester, Malmaison Restaurant serves stunning local delicacies with an adventurous edge. A spectacular open kitchen showcases the unique josper grill, whilst a theatre-style bar offers exhilarating mixology entertainment.

An exciting bar and grill concept, the Malmaison menu is filled with intense flavours, sourcing from top quality local suppliers. Heading the selection, a hearty handmade Smoakburger offers 200g of naturally reared beef, whilst vegetarian options at Smoak Restaurant include crepes loaded with spinach, mushroom and ricotta.

With a cosmopolitan vibe, the Malmaison Manchester bar showcases more informal delicacies. Diners can bask in squashy Chesterfield sofas whilst enjoying Chicago-style rib steak with sweet onions, or a crispy duck salad. At the bar, expert staff shake jazzy house cocktails, whilst the secret cellar showcases a range of stunning blends.

Plush red leather booths and union jack upholstery evoke a fashionable tone at Malmaison restaurant in Manchester. The popular Manchester Arndale is 3 minutes’ walk away.

The food was excellent- soup was one of the best I have tastedand service good the only negative is that I thought as it was a christmas lunch it would be more festive, thought the table would have been festively decorated and include crackers etc.

My husband daughter and I visited Malmaison yesterday for lunch. We had a fab time and the food was excellent. Unfortunately I had forgotten to take out Bookatable voucher number and could not get into my emails, even though they allowed me to use their computer. This meant we had to pay full price as they claimed that they did not have the number although the maître d knew that we had booked through you as it was stated on our arrival, and the table was set up with the menu for ''Festive lunch'' as booked. Never had to show the voucher before when I have booked packages so was a little complacent. Did not spoil the experience but will be more careful in the future.

CHAMPAGNE WAS NOT COLD AND FLAT HOWEVER THE FRIES WERE COLD AND SOGGY , THE MUSSELS WERE MAINLY CLOSED SO I SENT THEM BACK. THE CHATEAUBRIAND WAS VERY SMALL FOR 2 , SO WE ORDERED DESSERTS THE CREME BRULEE WAS VERY NICE HOWEVER THE CHEESE PLATE WAS POOR VALUE FOR £9, all in all the £50 deal for 2 turned into £115 as the main was so mean we needed other courses to fill our appetite

We had the Chateaubriand & Malbec £50 deal - the food was cooked beautifully, the wine was excellent and the service was attentive without being obtrusive. The restaurant was lively without being loud.
The only criticism I had was the deal only came with 1 portion of fries so you had to purchase another, and the portion of mushrooms we ordered additionally were delicious but 3 doesn't constitute much of a portion. Likewise the moules mariniere - delicious but small portions and again, you had to order bread separately at additional cost.
All in all, a lovely meal but pricey, particularly for the amount recieved

    The overall experience was excellent.

The food was outstanding and the service second to none.

The only negative was the length of time to have our drinks served in the bar area whilst we waited for our table....20mins for 2 cocktails is too long...the cocktails were delicious but shouldn't have taken that long.
