Our train was late but on arrival at the restaurant the staff were extremely sympathetic and assured us that our lateness was no problem. The food was excellent, the staff attentive and knowledgeable re the menu. We had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch and were glad we had chosen Malmaison in Manchester for our reunion.

Meal with my wife, lovely ambiance. The pork terrier was tasty and different more like a pulled pork in breadcrumb casing. Delighted with the option of a cheese board with out supplement that celebrated unusual English cheeses.

One disappointment was the squid starter which turned out to be a nice tomato salad with a "garnish" of squid.

Sea trout was a delight to find as an option but glad we ordered a side of potatoes between us - which was able. Real good deal of 3 course and glass of prossecco for £20

Staff lovely and attentive if a little quick but you only have the table for the hour and 15

Service very good, staff helpful. Food was excellent, good value for money £19.95 three courses and glass of prosecco. Although quiet there was a nice atmosphere. Would certainly gap back.

Food was exceptional! Atmosphere fairly relaxed but slightly loud as it was next to bar. Service was good but younger staff lacked experience and knowledge

Good location with nicely appointed bar and restaurant. The Bookatable fixed price menu offer was very good value for money at £19.95 for 3 courses. Service and quality of food was excellent. Only downside was the additional 10% service charge which was added to the bill; there was no indication that this was discretionary and there was an expectation for a staff gratuity on top of this.

Always an excellent dining experience we had salt and pepper squid, lamb shoulder, bang bang chicken and taster desserts amongst our choices. All choices delicious, with the exception of the Pork terrine (starter) a bit bland. Attentive service as always.

The restraunt looked grand. The food was well presented and the food tasted heavenly. The waiters were lovely and the food came so quickly. For a three course meal we were only in there for an hour. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back for more. Would highly recommend to everyone. The goods worth the price and the experience was grand

We ate on the 3 course and a glass of prosecco offer and were not disappointed, plenty of choice with the Lamb being a stand out dish closely followed by the mini dessert platter. As always with Mal great service from friendly staff.
