Housed within striking modern architecture, Malmaison Liverpool serves wonderfully refined regional delicacies. As well as the main industrial brasserie, guests can choose to dine at the action-packed kitchen table, or in the seductive boudoir private dining room.

Serving modern reinventions of classic local cuisine, the Malmaison menu is committed to sourcing the best produce in the region. Sophisticated yet accessible, a beautifully presented a la carte selection foregrounds bold, wholesome flavours. Tasty vegetarian options and succulent fish dishes are served, as well as sublime New York strip steak cuts.

For a relaxed tone, diners can head to the sleek Plum Bar. Subdued and atmospheric, a cosmopolitan selection of cocktails showcases signature creations from the Mal mixologists, alongside a well-balanced range of world wines.

Blending lavish flourishes with exposed brickwork and contemporary art, The Brasserie at the Liverpool Mal offers an eclectic retreat. Perched on the waterfront, Tate Liverpool is 5 minutes’ drive away.

Loved the dining experience. Afternoon tea was amazing and the service was fab. We went for my sister in laws baby shower and the staff couldn't have helped more. They made us feel special and went above and beyond to help make her day. Would recommend to anyone.

I had no trouble booking.I went to the Malmaison Liverpool on 30th June 2016with a friend,we both ordered pork terrine for starters, it was completely teastless with an added chunch, the crunch turned out to be a pigs tooth.we were told that a pigs head had been boiled and the meat etc scraped off ,that was how the tooth got into the food. Not good enough. That was my last visit, never again.

Beautifully presented food and excellent amount of choice. Sunday lunch is always a treat at Malmaison and I can't recommend it enough.

I booked this meal through Bookatable and upon arrival at the restaurant, was given the "special menu" but showing a different price. I spoke with one of the staff who confirmed it was all fine and the deal would be honored. We were also advised that a number of items were off the menu. Having perused the menu, there was not much else to choose from that we fancied, so I asked whether we could use the allowance off the main menu. This was agreed "within reason". Once we had chosen our food, we beckoned the waiter, to be told the starters we had chosen was also "sold out". The food finally turned up and was of a reasonable standard. The wait between courses was a little longer than I would have liked and the staff are a little too attentive, buzzing around every few minutes with " how are you guys"!!. Also we were not offered our free Prosecco until I mentioned it when paying the bill, to be met with "do you want it now". However the waiter did knock two glasses of wine off the bill to compensate. Overall, I was disappointed. It's been a number of years since I've been to this restaurant and standards appear to have slipped.

Like the fact it so quiet- no loud music- can actually have a conversation.
