A high-end concept brought to you by the former MD of steak restaurant Gaucho and Le Gavroche chef Michael Reid, M Victoria is the second M opening, joining its hugely popular sister restaurant, M Threadneedle St. This award–winning grill restaurant was shortlisted as Best New Opening 2016 and Best Festival Menu at the London Restaurant Festival.

Offsetting its succulent grill cuts with a nutrient-bursting raw bar, the M restaurant menu focuses on supreme ingredients, cherry-picked from across the globe. Enjoy RAW specialities like tuna sashimi or kangaroo tartare, along with GRILL favourites like braised lamb, or a succulent Aberdeen Angus steak.

Head down to the basement-dwelling M bar to sample a host of signature cocktails and street food, where live arts and DJs conjure a high-octane vibe. The M restaurant group was bestowed with ‘Sommelier of the Year’ award from Harpers 2015.

Entered by a spectacular wine store, M restaurant Victoria is an ultra-slick drinking and dining emporium in London. Find Victoria Station a 6-minute walk away.

This was our second visit! The first time the food and the deal were great but we were not sure about the service. So we decided to try again and it was fabulous! We had great and fun waiters, prosecco did flow freely and the food was amazing. The pre-starter of the black taramasalata was superb and we asked for another extra one! All very good all round. We will go again soon!

Food was good and the prosecco flowed very freely! Service was very slow though (especially given we were choosing from a set menu). Total meal took nearly 3 hours (for a group of 9)

Very cool restaurant. Had a set menu at £29.50 where some of the courses were shared. Food was nice but not fabulous. Steak was tough. But OMG is this place expensive. The drinks are astronomical. £17.50 for a cocktail. The cheapest bottle of wine is £35. The total bill for 4 of us was over £200 (included £25 added on for service charge). Unusual for a table of four to automatically add service charge? We did enjoy the evening but far too expensive.

Salmon sachimi was delicious. Lobster was over cooked. Service was terrible. It wasn't even busy. Lots of staff standing around chatting and deliberately avoiding eye contact.

We want for the free flowing prosecco and set menu. The food was poor and the waitors were obviously stretched so couldn't give great service. The restaurant looks nice but It's concentrating on being trendy but with no substance.

Food was lovely but we did wait nearly half n hour for our pudding, also we were stung a bit with the bill at the end - one of our friends was vegetarian and with out telling us they charged us extra, that was really disappointing. We gave them a big tip at the end when we shouldn't have done! Even though it's discretionary! But was questioned when we didn't put the full amount on our cards - but we gave the rest in cash.

We looked at some of the opinions and thought that it was exactly what we wanted. We booked the set menu, that seemed generous with 4 plates. However, the plates must be shared and the two have to order the same, making the resulting individual portion smaller. That was fine for a Monday night. The sushi was not super fresh but good. When the steak came, we started chewing and had to stop, because it was so hard and tasteless that it was the worst meat we have ever had. When we told the waiter, he said that this is because it was Irish beef .... and my husband being Irish said that it wasn't a reason, as Ireland has some of the most tender beef in the world. He offered to cook another one if we wanted, and we hesitated and said no. Then the desert came and we left the 6 so called 'donuts' there: as hard as a rock. They should be called ball shaped cookies and it would be accurate.

The staff were correct, but didn't have the experience or knowledge to fix a very disappointing dinner.

When we asked for the bill, they gave us a 25% discount for the steak inconvenience ... that was then added back as service charge !!

We will not go back. It is a real shame, because we go out for dinner 3 nights per week, and there are really good restaurants in London.

Beautiful restaurant, thought that there was a dress code as everyone looked really smart but there wasn't. Went there as there was an offer for a 4 course meal with free flowing prosecco. Prosecco seemed a bit flat but got used to that! Food was really good and atmosphere too. Waiters seems to loose a bit of interest as it got later in the evening. I think the restaurant can be quite expensive if you don't have the special offer.

7 of us ate here: nice room with cool booths and a good value set menu with excellent steak - friendly waiters

Really enjoyed our experience here. Good value with the lunch deal. Only minor letdown was the table next to us offered the bottle of prosecco on top of their free drink. We were not offered the same and would have happily paid for the bottle.
