Yet again M ticks all the boxes, excellent food, service and atmosphere. Steak was cooked to perfection as always and dessert was delicious! Cannot wait for our next visit!

Created by the former managing director of Gaucho, and led by executive chef Michael Reid, M Restaurants houses 2 100-cover restaurants, a destination cocktail bar, a wine-tasting room and a secret lounge, in addition to flexible private dining and event spaces.

A casual dining spot, RAW showcases contemporary Asian flavours. Try swordfish from the sashimi bar, belly pork and egg ramen, or Argentine beef tartare. M Grill serves select steak cuts carefully selected from 6 individual countries, including South African rib eye and high grade Japanese pure Kobe fillet steak.

Characterised by extravagant lighting, contemporary artwork and sophisticated furnishings, M is a distinctly cool City venue. M Restaurants in Bank is also home to a mezzanine-level cocktail bar, which plays host to live music and DJs.

Amidst the buzz of the capital’s financial district, M Restaurants London is a short stroll from St Paul's Cathedral, and a 2-minute walk from Bank Tube Station.

Almost 5 stars. Starters and desserts really good. The buttermilk fried chicken is to die for (best I've ever had), and we will return just to eat this again. Mains a little so-so, arriving 10 seconds after we had taken the last mouthful of our (generous) starters. My fish had obviously been left standing on the pass: somewhat lukewarm, and the skin was no longer crispy. Then had to wait nearly forty minutes for our desserts (they had forgotten to print out the ticket in the kitchen, apparently). Still, we were given two glasses of dessert wine and a recipe book to compensate. Most annoying aspect (apart from all the other diners getting sozzled on an all-you-can-drink blush sparkling wine promo) was the loud music. Also a bit pricey: 75cl Hildon sparkling water is £5.25, plus 12.5 % service charge.

My fourth visit to this restaurant, though this time at lunch rather than dinner. As usual, service was great, food was great and the free-flowing prosecco deal really is good value. Will be back again no doubt and have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending it.

We only had time for a main course lunch and the service was attentive with a high quality and tasteful steak meal

Great food, great value, great venue. Lousy service, which part ruined the evening.

I very much enjoyed my visit to M Threadneedle Street. I found the quality of the food to be excellent, the service was professional and friendly and the decor/ambiance was good. My visit was on a Monday lunchtime, so it wasn't very busy - which suited me.

Loved it. Nice buzz on a Friday night yet still a private meal for two. Staff great, food great and wines also. The offer worked out well and with wine on top came to £100 for 2 - perfect for a getaway night without being too extravagant.
