The pride of the Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel, Lowndes Bar & Kitchen serves contemporary British cuisine. Snug seating areas and a minimalist dining room indoors are offset by a heated al fresco terrace.
From tasty comfort food through to complex flavour combinations, the Lowndes menu offers a diverse selection. Sourcing sublime produce from trusted suppliers, favourites include a Buccleuch Estate pure-beef cheeseburger, or lemon sole with sautéed tiger prawns. When night falls, Lowndes in London serves an adventurous selection from the bar, including flashy house cocktails.
A tempting selection at Lowndes restaurant sees indulgent flourishes added to classic British combinations. A lavish chocolate afternoon tea assortment is served alongside more informal dishes, like a succulent meat platter loaded with chicken lollipops and spicy lamb koftas.
Effortlessly elegant, Lowndes in Belgravia boasts an exclusive postcode and clean, slick interior design. Knightsbridge Tube Station is 4 minutes’ walk away.

good food and attentive staff which only slightly made up for the embarrassing situation as described below.

Early Evening on a windy rainy February Saturday night, just round the corner from Harrods and Harvey Nichols Department Stores. This was a lovely little oasis of Calm. The restaurant area is small but you can sit outside under the heaters ( Some people did !). The Staff were perfect, very attentive and helpful without being obtrusive. The menu offered something for everyone, we settled for the two courses including a glass of Prosecco and had an additional dessert and tea.
The starters ( french onion soup and squid ) were nicely cooked and well presented. The Mains ( Sea Bass- beautifully presented, Mushroom Risotto- flavourful and filling and Chicken Breast-also full of flavourful and well presented ). Desserts were also nicely done, Creme Brulee with a crisp sugar crust and a milk flan with lovely raspberry sorbet which looked too good to eat.
Overall we were very impressed for such a reasonable price in such a good location. Even food from the standard menu was keenly priced.
We will definitely return ! Thanks for such a lovely Meal.

Restaurant wasn't what I expected as it lacked in ambience and felt like dining in a 3+* hotel lobby area. Service was good, food was very average. We got a good deal as it was London Restaurant Festival but I had been to another restaurant in Piccadilly the week before which was a completely different experience, for the better. Overall it was average, but I wouldn't go back or recommend it to friends.

Excellent value for the £20 London Festival menu. We went early before the theatre so very few customers but that ment we could people watch those walking past. Filled up for 7.30pm as we were leaving.

Very nice food and surroundings. Service good and wine reasonably priced. 15% service charge a bit steep though

We were expecting poor service and poor quality of food due to reading past feedbacks, but I have to say that both my husband and I had a great time, food was excellent over and above what we expected , the drinks were what you would expect. The service was excellent I could not fault it at all, we arrived an hour early so was happy to sit in the bar till our table was ready but the waiters would have none of it and seated us there and then giving us the choice to either sit in the sun or in the shade, very attentive and made sure our water was topped up without us having to ask. It was excellent, impeccable service. Will go again.
