In one of the capital’s trendiest districts, London Cat Village serves afternoon tea surrounded by countless resident felines. For the ultimate homely touch, trade shoes for comfy slippers at the door, and settle in for monthly Detox & Meditation Nights on Wednesdays.

Serving up traditional teatime treats throughout the day, the London Cat Village menu includes elaborately decorated cakes, warming hot drinks and cooling iced coffees. Tempting desserts, served in delicate glassware, offer extra-level luxury.

Plush rainbow-coloured bean bags and split-tree-trunk tables are dotted through the dining room at London Cat Village, and springy artificial grass is felt underfoot.

A stress-busting experience that’s currently one of London’s most sought after, this cat café in Shoreditch is found just 5 minutes’ walk from Old Street Station. Please note that London Cat Village do not admit any child under 12.

The cats were great. Upstairs I think was nicer than downstairs. Food ok but overpriced.

It was just great. Amazing service. We had scones those were really nice. We reordered them that we want more and more. Booking service was quick as well. I did one mistake about the wrong time and I wanted to change it. It was really very easy to do so. I just called the restaurant and change with my perfect available time. Cats were friendly and the waitress was very very nice as well. Toilet was clean. Restaurant was maintained in a good way.

Interesting sandwiches, drinks and cakes. All a bit artisan. I had the carrot cake with pistachio and knew there was something a bit different but thought it had been made with oil instead of butter but it turned out it was gluten free. My starter of salmon (fishy loves kitty) was tasty and arrived in the style of potted shrimp in a jar with a warm boule of sourdough bread and is to be recommended. The main reason for eating at the Cat Village was the cats and they were really sweet and enjoyed games. We abided by the rules - not picking up any of the cats and not disturbing when sleeping and the hour and a half seemed about right to have the experience and eat.

The staff were lovely, very helpful. Loved the cats, they were very chilled. The actual location is hard to find. We walked straight past the cafe.

I absolutely loved it! Went with a group of friends in the morning (we were the first people there and had the cafe to ourselves for around half an hour) and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time. The layout and setting is really stylish and cozy (the wooden furniture is perfect), and our food and drinks not only looked but also tasted great! (We had gluten free carrot cake, unicorn cake, scones, along with a range of different drinks - all delicious). Cute little cats sitting around sleeping or waiting for cuddles made out time really special. Some were friendlier than others, but they all looked great in photos! So many beautiful different breeds and colours. It's just a shame that many of them were sleeping and the visiting time slots are not longer than an hour :) Oh and the waitress was lovely and made the rules very clear to us. The cafe was quite difficult to find (we walked up and down the road 4 times until we found it, haha!) but that could be due to the construction works right next to it.
