In one of the capital’s trendiest districts, London Cat Village serves afternoon tea surrounded by countless resident felines. For the ultimate homely touch, trade shoes for comfy slippers at the door, and settle in for weekly film screenings on Wednesday evenings.
Serving up traditional teatime treats throughout the day, the London Cat Village menu includes elaborately decorated cakes, warming hot drinks and cooling iced coffees. Tempting desserts, served in delicate glassware, offer extra-level luxury.
Plush rainbow-coloured bean bags and split-tree-trunk tables are dotted through the dining room at London Cat Village, and springy artificial grass is felt underfoot.
A stress-busting experience that’s currently one of London’s most sought after, this cat café in Shoreditch is found just 5 minutes’ walk from Old Street Station. Please note that London Cat Village do not admit any child under 12.

Cake and smoothie was really nice but expected more from it. Cats are scared of you and don't let them pet so easily.

The concept of the cafe is fantastic. The cats gorgeous and I aprieciate that the care of these animals is expensive. I am a cat career of over 38 yrs. With our present fury friend being our sixth.
I do feel that the cost of our coffee and cake was very expensive. The £5 entrance charge each I have no problem with but I do feel over £20 for two coffees and two pieces of cake is far too much.
For this reason only I would not return or recommend to my friends and family. Sorry.

I went to the London Cat Village last year (December 2015) and it wasn't really a cafe then. We could pay £5 and play with the cats for an hour. But I realise now that it's become a 'cafe' and we were forced to order something off the menu. I already told the staff that we were going out for lunch afterwards so we didn't want any food. The staff made us by drinks, which I was more than happy to, but they were very forceful and pushy about it. It wasn't the relaxing experience I had last time I visited.

A very warm and cosy environment, very well organised once inside , but the door sign needs to be made more obvious to ring or knock before entering as we totally forgot and missed the sign, and nearly broke the door.
The whole concept is wonderful, the cats are gorgeous and we feel it was a different experience, and one to remember, especially as this was a special visit for my daughters birthday.
Cake portion sizes were massive, 1 piece enough for 2!!! very nice and drinks were special too, with a christmassy touch for this time of year.
