Within the beautiful Canford Cliffs area housed in a quaint, colonial-style building, Loch Fyne Poole offers an array of delicious, fresh seafood. There’s al fresco dining during warmer weather, and a separate, chic bar area.

Specialising in fresh oysters and shellfish, Loch Fyne restaurants present an abundance of delicious fish and seafood dishes. Favourites include the hot and cold shellfish platters, along with the Loch Fyne moules marinières, or seasonal specials like dressed Cromer crab and pan fried fillet of sea bass with artichoke. Loch Fyne has a vibrant kids menu, and there are succulent, grilled meat dishes for the carnivores.

An elegant wine list beautifully complements the fish and shellfish favourites. All of the seafood at Loch Fyne restaurant is sustainably sourced, either from abundant wild stocks or responsible farming.

Just 7 minutes’ walk from the picturesque promenade, Poole Loch Fyne is a relaxing retreat set in a quiet, leafy area of the countryside.

Had a booking for an early supper, which worked fine. The menu was the seafood special one. Nice enough but quite expensive for the content. I do feel that £15.95 for a baked crab, with 2 small pieces of garlic bread and a handful of watercress is a bit steep.
The cheeseboard priced at over £8.00 was also felt to be a rip off.
Will think carefully before we go again.

Great food spoilt by awful service.

the restaurant and food were excellent as always but the evening was spoilt because "bookatable" had insisted that we chose between the special menu or a-la-carte. as I cannot normally cope with fixed 3/4 course menus we opted for a-la-carte but were told at the table that this was not possible so had to have the special menu. the staff were extremely apologetic but there was nothing they could do and it was "bookatable's" fault.

Excellent service. Menu with variety and unusual choices. Wonderful chips. Ditto oysters and mussels. 25% off on repeat visits so whole lobster £20 effectively.
    Very good NZ sauvignon blanc.

    We will
Not be visiting your establishment again. We were disappointed with the standard of the food presented, neither the flavours or the presentation pleased us.

The overall experience was good and we were quite content. The celeriac soup was offered but then we were told it had been taken off the menu. We noted there were very little in the way of vegetarian dishes and I am not sure about vegan. The service was good and helpful and pleasant. The wait was lengthy we were in the restaurant over two hours for one cours for two people and two courses for one person. The price was quite reasonable and the waiter was delighted with the £10 cash tip. It was a cold day and the restaurant needed to be much warmer. We were with my elderly mother of 87 who found it cold. There is no where to hang your coats.

Menu had changed since last time I dined here but it was equally as good. We had fish soup and crispy salt and chilly squid to start with followed by seafood tagliatelle, crab and lobster burger and fish and chips. All food was cooked perfectly and tasted very fresh. Have never had a bad meal here!
