Specialising in fresh oysters and shellfish, Loch Fyne restaurants present an abundance of delicious fish and seafood dishes. Favourites include the hot and cold shellfish platters, along with the Loch Fyne moules marinières, or seasonal specials like dressed Cromer crab and pan fried fillet of sea bass with artichoke. Loch Fyne has a vibrant kids menu, and there are succulent, grilled meat dishes for the carnivores.

An elegant wine list beautifully complements the fish and shellfish favourites. All of the seafood at Loch Fyne restaurant is sustainably sourced, either from abundant wild stocks or responsible farming.

Was disappointed with the time to be served, took 20 min before we were offered a drink! Food seemed very oily as well. I would say staff were friendly when they came over but was very slow considering it was not very busy.

Friendly waiting staff. Gave enough time for us to chat in between courses. Was rather dissapointed with the food. Starters were very small and just average.
Mains were passable but inconsistent. I had sea bass which was tasty but the skin was soggy and an unusual array of vegetables placed on top. My partner had Salmon Nicoise Salad which was not very impressive at all, it lacked flavour and presentation, a small amount put on a large plate! the salmon was very overcooked. Our guests had Hake and Cod, again very average. We only ordered two desserts again both were not to standard, cheesecake just tasted of cream! We will not be returning to this restaurant. i would have spoken to the staff but we had guests with us and I did not want to cause them any embarrassment!

A very enjoyable meal and the service was very good A very reasonable price as well. All our party enjoyed their meal. We have been before and we enjoyed it then.

Very disappointing. We've eaten with you before, and my son too, and he had a good lunch recently. But we had a Christmas Day meal with you a few years ago, which was poor, and yesterday's lunch was not good at all. The sprats were too salty, the soup uninteresting, my friends did not enjoy their mackerel, my wife left most of her quiche with unimaginative undressed salad, and my prawn spaghetti was dull except that it was too hot. None of us ate all our meal, and the deserts were very undistinguished. We were the only people in the restaurant yesterday morning, for two hours plus.
My friends dined at one of your restaurants ages ago before you became well known. Take care not to return to obscurity. I am sorry to have to be so negative, but it's a sort of duty, isn't it, and you solicit comments, as everyone does these days.

The pasta was really good and tasty and full of flavour. The steak was cooked just right and packed with flavour. Fish finger burger was fresh. The service was very good and on point.

A lovely restaurant. Never lets me down and the seafood is always beautiful here. The service we had last night was brilliant and faultless. Always return for a special occasion.

Disappointing. We have had many good meals at Loch Fyne Loughton and visit regularly. The haddock on colcannon was low on mash and the sauce was thin. The marmalade pudding was low on flavour and the custard was thin and tepid. Service was slow and the bread was not available.
