Good food, good service, good meal

My wife and I chose as the lunch main course of "SMOKED SALMON PUFF PASTRY BAKE* Lemon butter sauce", however when we we started to eat it mainly contained curry flavoured rice with very few flakes of salmon, when our waiter asked if everything was ok we explained that my wife has a great distaste of both curry and rice and I was very disappointed that there was no mention of rice on the menu, We would have expected the waiter to offer use another choice but all he said was he would mention it to the manager, my wife did not eat it and I left most of it. When the bill arrived we were surprised that both dinners were still showing, when I spoke about it to the manager he informed us that the waiter had not mentioned our complaint. However he did eventually deduct 25% of our bill. Loch Fyne need to state all the main ingredients of the course as it was very misleading.

Lovely meal, friendly polite service. Booked a pre theatre table and they listened when we were running out of time . Food was good.

Very good choice of menu, nicely done out place and very pleasant staff. Food decent but service very slow - though we were there on a Saturday.

Always a very good restaurant with great service and lovely food.

There are too many menus and they could do with simplifying the format. However the experience was very good.

Food was good without being outstanding although the shellfish platter which we shared as a starter was excellent. Service was very poor -restaurant was only half full, but our waiter disappeared for long periods, and had to be reminded about bread, water (which we saw appear at other tables). Overall ok but wouldn't rush back.
