Specialising in fresh oysters and shellfish, Loch Fyne restaurants present an abundance of delicious fish and seafood dishes. Favourites include the hot and cold shellfish platters, along with the Loch Fyne moules marinières, or seasonal specials like dressed Cromer crab and pan fried fillet of sea bass with artichoke. An elegant wine list beautifully complements the fish and shellfish favourites. All of the seafood at Loch Fyne restaurant is sustainably sourced, either from abundant wild stocks or responsible farming.

Excellent Mother's Day set menu. Would recommend for a special meal.

This is a lovely setting in a tastefully-converted church. I like fish and seafood so I am thoroughly spoiled here. On this occasion I started with the mussels cooked in whtle wine and garlic with a little cream served with crusty bread. The smoked haddock, scotch egg and mustard mash to follow is a favourite though I wish it was still the simply poached egg on top, and the creme brûlée is excellent. And the staff are lovely and attentive.

Lovely restaurant full of character as it used to be a church. Centrally located in Gosforth. Staff very attentive although did have to wait longer than we thought for main. If you are downstairs you can see the food being prepared, always a good sign. The only downside for us is the place is always cold. We have never had a warm seat yet. It would put us off going again especially in the winter.

Resaurant was very drafty and cold. Food was cold when served which we sent back. . My friend had a fish pie which was very dry and had a few peices of fish! It was mainly potatoe!
