The dining experience was very good and food also. Just a pity they tried to charge us £42 too much. This was rectified but only after I pointed this out. I don't blame the staff but the billing system leaves a lot to be desired.

Beautiful old building in Farnham. Having eaten here lunch times this was the first evening meal . Not overly busy at 7.00 but was filling up when we left about 8.30. After a hot day the air con was blasting out, which I'm sure was needed during the day, the temperature had dropped considerably. Not only that but doors wide open so very cold. Am a cold mortal so thought it was just me but several other customers were putting on jackets and cardigans, even my husband put his jumper on!y. Did eventually close door after complaints but air con still blasting out. Next time will try and choose different a table. We were sitted close to open kitchen which was very noisy with shouting and banging Apart from all that couldn't fault the food - Exc ellent.

We got to sit outside for a drink first which was lovely. Service (Ivana) was excellent. She was friendly, helpful, patient and happy to advise when asked. Food was good. The fish with choices of Sauce and two sides was imaginative and great value. Everyone enjoyed their meals and those that had desert said they were excellent. A great evening!

Overall I was really disappointed with our meal at Loch Fyne Farnham.
Service was painfully slow (2 hours until we got our main) and my fish was undercooked even after having to send it back it was still not cooked properly.
I will never dine at the restaurant again.

Lovely meal, the resturant is very light and airy, not crammed next to another table. Good was excellent and service first class, staff were very attentive. Would definitely visit again
