The restaurant was fine but they had no record of the booking. Did you pass it on?

Filled with plush booth seating and eclectic artwork, Locale County Hall crafts traditional Italian cuisine. A spectacular open kitchen creates a buzz indoors, or the outdoor terrace overlooks the iconic County Hall.

A quintessential neighbourhood eatery, the Locale menu showcases authentic Italian recipes, crafted using ingredients sourced from Italy, as well as those from local suppliers. Alongside classic pizzas and pasta covered with Locale’s homemade sauces, more adventurous flavours create an exciting edge. For a distinct taste, slow roasted suckling pig is served with spring greens and fennel, or sample king scallops wrapped in pancetta, with pumpkin puree.

An extensively researched wine list at Locale restaurant presents a predominantly Italian selection, as well as a refreshing range of cocktails compiled by an award-winning mixologist. A fun, fresh kids’ menu keeps little diners happy at Locale {1}.

In a bustling area of the city, Locale offers a quaint retreat. Waterloo Rail Station is just 7 minutes’ walk away.

Excellent service and good food , only slight complaint tables are packed in to close together , no privacy.

We were there over lunch and the space was incredibly noisy and busy, to the point where conversation was difficult. Food was OK, but just OK. A bland tomato sauce on the ravioli, lasagna and even the pizza. Portion sizes were variable: lasagna, quite large; pizza, average; and the "large size" ravioli, a very modest portion. Server was friendly and efficient.

Good, simple food, nothing extraordinary but nevertheless tasty. Very loud music, you could not have a conversation. We had to ask it to be turned down. The mere fact that you have to ask for the music to be turned down put us off. It is a restaurant not a fre.. discotheque. Service not friendly nor forthcoming nor inviting.

Definitely the WORSE restaurant that I have ever been. Awful spaghetti carbonara with the spaghetti "swimming" in a greasy cream, tasteless and indifferent pizza like rubber and the worse tiramisu we have had. The service not too bad but not very good as well.
Never recommend to anyone for any reason to go there ( and this was our 2nd bad experience there- and last...)

Nice restaurant with an intimate atmosphere - hard to find in this part of London. Food was good, not great, but fine for a mid-week meal. Would have liked more vegetarian choice beyond pasta and pizza (gluten-free) - something with aubergine maybe? Service was prompt and friendly. Quite pricey, but I expected it to be in that area.
