Very nice meal and very friendly service. The lunchtime deal was excellent value. Loved the baked Brie and cranberry sauce for starters. We had pulled pork with mash and red cabbage for main - delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We arrived for a dinner date a little early, and clearly interrupted the staff in their break but they happily invited us in when they saw us and insisted that we sat down, to which we were impressed. They took our jackets, offered us drinks, and were very friendly. The new menu was great, portions were decent, and food was presented very well. Had pork belly to start, lamb as a main, and panacotta for dessert. Friendly staff looked after us well (we had Ryan Welsh!). They made sure we were comfortable and happy. The only comment on the food is that the mains lacked green vegetables, which in my opinion would make the dish look more colourful and more nutrient filled. Sides are an option but would be nicer if it came with the dish! Really great experience overall, I'd come back.
