Arguably one of Wales’ most idyllic spots, Llanerch Vineyard offers refined British cuisine in a 5-star setting. Set within 22 acres of the lush Vale of Glamorgan, guests can look out over the picturesque grape-filled fields.

Offering classic dishes which bring sumptuous natural flavours to the fore, Llanerch Vineyard menu offerings include grilled market-fresh fish fillets, succulent duck leg with raspberry jus, or beetroot tart tatin with Welsh cheese. Desserts are made fresh on the premises, and change according to the season.

Sourcing bins from the Llanerch estate as well as further afield, the Llanerch Vineyard wine list offers a knowledgeably sourced, easy-to-understand selection. A celebrated list of regional cheeses complements the wine list perfectly, and guests are welcome to amble through the vineyard at their leisure.

The pride of this 5-star retreat, guests can enjoy dining on the summery patio during warmer weather, or in the homely Llanerch restaurant dining room. Central Pontyclun is an 8-minute drive away.

I brought my mum for afternoon tea, the service was excellent with happy smiling staff. The overall experience was very pleaseant, the sweets served were delicious and mouthwatering, apart from the cucumber finger sandwiches. Mum is not a lover of them ! I have visited the restaurant on many occasions, and will be booking for my birthday in July.

My friends and I have been to the vineyard on many occasions. The food was great as usual, but on this occasion, the service was poor. Our food arrived with no cutlery. We were told where we could find it inside! It was a beautiful day, so we choose to seat outside. The wait at the bar was long on the numerous times that we went there. We were ordering bottles of wine. The staff on each occasion didn't have any glasses. No offer to bring them out to us when they located more. We were told to wait. This is not the level of service that I have come to expect from the vineyard.

We had an excellent experience at the venue, staring with the vineyard tour and then being spoiled at the restaurant with exceptional service and absolutely delicious top quality food. Nothing was too much trouble and we will all be revisiting soon.
The cheesecake was so delicious I ordered two extra portions to take away!!

We had afternoon tea. The servis was amazing, very attentive and friendly. The afternoon tea I felt was quite overpriced for what it was, although there was a great selection of cakes, the sandwich were a bit disappointing, 4 very small squares each. My personal opinion would be to increase the amount of sandwiches
