An amazing place with great service - everyone was willing to help! We had the 6 course tasting menu with wine pairing and it was to die for! Definitely recommend the duck ravioli and turbot. The live music in the jazz lounge was perfect as well - not too loud and some classics in there for everyone to enjoy and sing a long to.

    Extremely professional, friendly service.
1.The Doorman - went straight to the taxi to meet us upon arrival. Taxi has been offered on our way out as well along with umbrella. Excellent!
    2. Waiters - no doubts, one of the best team among London's 5+ Star restaurants. Very attentive!
    3. Food - no comments ...simply outstanding!
    4. Singer - Jayne O’Mahony was at her best!
    5.Interior - superb
    6. Washrooms - extremely clean , but it wasn't easy to find a way out as all the doors in the basement look the same, sorry. Apart from that - spotless!

The music and the decor was beyond beautiful; however, the food was uneatable. It was, by far, the most disgusting food that I have ever been served as a tasting menu. It is NOT worth spending that amount of money for the horrendous food that you are given. From the ink flavoured/coloured bread to the brick of whipped foie gras to the mediocre lamb and the non-existent turbot fillet. So - insanely - NOT worth it!

Went here for my boyfriends birthday. Lovely experience from start to finish. Friendly welcome at the Art Deco jazz lounge. Food good (but not great - some dishes lacked taste, the Guinea fowl main was the best dish we ordered). The music from the jazz trio set a lovely atmosphere and we enjoyed the entertainment very much. I though it was great value for money - £80 a head for a glass of champagne, 3 courses, half a bottle of wine each and the extras - amuse bouche and delightful box of petit four to end the meal. It was a nice touch for the band to sing happy birthday and for them to bring out a birthday dessert!
I think you would be hard pressed to find this type of experience for the same price anywhere else in London. Would return to celebrate a special occasion again.
