A picturesque country pub in Thelwall Village, Little Manor has been renovated by award-winning pub group, Brunning & Price. Dating back to the 17th century, the building bears the charming quirks of several extensions, now featuring a sun-soaked al fresco terrace.

Refined gastro pub cuisine on the Little Manor menu is showcased in dishes like the whole grilled plaice with lobster butter, warm new potatoes and green salad, and slow-braised ox cheek with roasted garlic mash, cauliflower cheese and red wine sauce. There are traditional favourites like steaks and pies, while light bites include a tasty red onion and feta quiche.

Chequerboard flooring, a majestic hearth and eye-catching local artwork are among the endearing features of the Little Manor pub in Warrington. It boasts a sophisticated wine list, silky cask ales on tap and a select children’s menu.

Sitting adjacent to the Manchester Ship Canal, Little Manor is easily accessible from the M6, and is 6 miles from Gulliver’s World Theme Park.

Fabulous service as always. Delicious food. Loved the crab and coconut starter and the children always love their fish finger sandwiches and waffles. Another lovely birthday celebration. Thank you

Very nice. Good food and service. Good wine list. Love you can take the dog! The only reason ambience gets a 4 is because smokers are in and out and the cold blast of air is not pleasant or appreciated. The door in winter should be locked/fire exit only in the garden room area.

Nice surroundings, with friendly but slow service.
Food is not cheap, but quality is average at best.
Shame really, when this establishment re-opened a couple of years ago it was excellent food and service. The last two times we have been we have left feeling disappointed, so we won't be going back unfortunately.

Given Saturday menus instead of Sunday ones to begin with. So had to reorder. Very draughty next to window. Smoked mackerel starter with Waldorf salad didn't have any walnuts in so asked for some. They came coated in sticky sweet honey? Not great when on Slimming World! Ordered fish pie which was lovely but all the vegetables were swimming in cream. This wasn't mentioned in the menu description. For me and a lot of other women watching their weight it would be great if you could include some low calorie, clean food either with a calorie count next to it or a dish which complies to Weight Watchers point system or Slimming World's Syn system. Surely this can't be too difficult? Be bold and be the first. Be different, you are always looking for something to stand out from the crowd. Lots of women would dine her for that reason! Portion size: starters were far too big. Please, please make them smaller and charge accordingly. I don't want to spend £6 on a starter which fills me up before I get to the main course, you are just adding to the country's obesity problem!!!!!! Apart from that we had a lovely meal with attentive pleasant staff. Nice ambiance.

It is more than 4 year's since we last visited The Little Manor. We used to go quite regularly until it's decline. However, having heard about the refurbishment, new owners and improved service we decided to visit again.

We we're not disappointed. The service was very good and the waitress very attentive. The restaurant was very busy, but we weren't rushed or harried by the staff; quite the opposite. The menu selection was varied and good. I had the fish pie which was delightful. In fact all the selected starters and main course dishes were enjoyed by all in our party.

    We'll be going again!
