Inside a popular Tudor-style guesthouse, the restaurant at Linden House is a chic eatery that runs as a bustling cafe and restaurant by day, and bar at night. Small plates are served, alongside cocktails, beers, wines, and popular afternoon teas.
Bold European flavours and classic full English breakfasts feature on the Linden House menu, as well as revitalising creations like smoothies and a range of detox juices. There are a selection of deli-style dishes such as the open crayfish sandwich with bloody mary sauce, as well as colourful salads that include homemade goat's cheese with lentils and gooseberry, or chipotle chicken with avocado, roasted corn and black bean salsa. Hearty plates feature favourites like an 8oz sirloin steak with chips and watercress, and the savoury tart of the day.
Sweet treats at Linden House Kensington include profiteroles with salted caramel, as well as macaroons and banana bread. Afternoon tea can be served with a choice of tea or bubbles, and there are colourful cocktails ranging from the classic mojito to the tangy breakfast martini made with marmalade.

Service could have been improved on massively..... Waitress did not know the difference between a fondant and a fondue ! Pear dessert had a hard pear and couldn't taste the almond or honey - just very sweet. Curry was much too salty - and that's for someone who likes salt - should really have gone back. Didn't really get the sweet waffle with the duck. Staff very willing and pleasant particularly the young man who was very eager to please. We had fun but you have to improve. We've used Linden House over the years - mainly for lunch and so will come back but please heed feedback

Love the venue, staff very courteous, especially the young waiter. Menu was imaginative. Food was beautifully presented and tasted good, fillet steaks particularly good, lamb was just a little tough. Enjoyed the overall experience but it was quieter than expected for a Saturday night.

Great Hotel/Restaurant. Both of us had Fish Pie with green veg. Fish Pie had a lovely flavour but was on the small side and could have done with more than 5 green beans and 4 pieces of broccoli. We still felt a little hungry so we had a sharing cheese board which was good. Felt it was quite expensive for what you got.
