The meal was delicious and wines so interesting. Poached eggs with mushroom and truffle foam was memorable and cooked to perfection. Thank you.

The sister restaurant of 2 Michelin-starred Taillevent in Paris, Les 110 de Taillevent is a hotly-anticipated arrival on the London restaurant scene. Guests can expect classic French brasserie dining in a refined West End setting.

Dishes such as whiting facon Colbert with tartare sauce, or saddle of lamb and veal kidney make up the menu, followed by cheese or dessert. Creative twists at Les 110 de Taillevent in Mayfair include the ‘remembering our childhood’ pudding, consisting of 4 childhood favourites, including rice pudding and crème caramel.

Every item on the Les 110 de Taillevent menu is accompanied by 4 different suggested wine pairings in 4 different price brackets, and 110 wines by the glass are on offer. Pierre-Yves Rochon, who revamped The Savoy, is responsible for the interior: the design of which is cleverly styled on a vineyard.

Enjoy afternoon tea’s replacement, ‘wine time’, al fresco on the terrace when the weather allows. Les 110 de Taillevent in London’s West End is a 6-minute walk from Oxford Circus Tube Station.

Veal chop was left up to chef's discretion as for level of "done-ness" and it was no trouble my sending it back to be cooked through to my liking. Superb jus accompaniment.

Simple but well executed set menu, and a thoughtful array of wines. In particular, the more modest selections were thought provoking and well chosen; a Ruilly and an Alsatian pinot noir were delightful, and the flight of glasses accompanying the cheese was a very nice touch. 4/5 due to cost. Wine mark-up is as expected, and set menu is good value, but we only opted for this because the a la carte is really rather expensive for what is accomplished food, but not quite fine dining.

Delicious food, especially the spelt risotto! Wine by the glass options are fantastic and service was very good with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Great food, wine. Very attractive space. Dreadful background music. Why? What compels otherwise extraordinary restaurants to pipe in such obnoxious dreck? To lure in a younger crowd? I've been enduring this godawful stuff for 15 years. It's old hat at this point. Hearing such music in your restaurant is like drinking kool-aid with that beautiful foie gras first course. The service was very good, then sort of petered out at the end. Was it because we were one of the two last tables left? I like very much the concept of the place-having several choices of wine pairings with each dish. Whenever we get back to London we will return to Taillevent. Please lose the nerve-racking soundtrack.
