With striking views of Tower Bridge from the elegant terrace, Le Pont de la Tour exudes an air of elegant refinement. Sublime French brasserie-style dishes and one of London's best wine lists can be experienced in the tranquil marine-inspired dining room with riverside views.

Blending French classicism with modern touches, the Pont de la Tour menu includes whole roasted mallard with creamed cabbage, pommes paille, and game jus, or fresh crustacea like grilled lobster with garlic butter. Vegetarian dishes at Le Pont de la Tour London include stuffed Piquillo pepper with tomato couscous, fried courgette and sauce verte.

Decadences like banana soufflé with caramelised peanut ice cream and salted caramel sauce or raspberry crème brulée with pistachio sablé are presented alongside an excellent French cheese selection.

The intimate private dining rooms at Le Pont de la Tour Shad Thames present unique dining areas divided by a glass wall, surrounded by fine wines and rare Grand Crus.

The food was very disappointing as in very small portions compared to other restaurants we have dined at, food was warm not very tasteful and unlike other places you were charged for further side dishes as in vegetables. Very, uninspiring which we did feed back when asked would not return

We arrived and had some pre-dinner cocktails at the bar listening to some nice live music by a singer/pianist/guitarist. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We waited a long time to have our champagne and receive the menus, even though I'd booked specifically for the restaurant festival. We were given the normal menus and when I asked for the restaurant festival ones, the server said she would bring them right over, but we had to ask a second time after about 20 minutes.
The food selection on the menu was very good- one could choose between meat, fish or vegetarian for starter and main. The starters were tasty and well-presented but not overly creative. The main courses were well prepared and presented but nothing out of the ordinary. Dessert was the best course and we enjoyed the original flavours and textures of the earl grey parfait. The sommelier was helpful and attentive. The servers were more attentive from half way through the meal, probably because the restaurant became less busy around then. It wasn't poor service, just not what I would expect at this restaurant. The views are amazing of the Thames and Tower Bridge. The atmosphere was so-so because it seemed like a lot of business meetings and tables are close together. It wouldn't be very romantic, but since we were out for girls night that was ok with us!

Three of us ate here last night. It was a very pleasant night. The dining area was relaxing enhanced by Christmas decoration: the views of the river enchanting. The food and wine were delicious. The staff were friendly and very helpful, they made the meal special. We all agreed we'd recommend this restaurant to others. One warning, it's quite expensive.

Had a wonderful Friday night dining at Le Pont de la Tour. We were seated by the window and the views of Tower Bridge were breathtaking. The decor, ambience, level of service and the wide choice of dishes and wines makes this a wonderful place to dine. It really was a very special evening, the food was exquisite and the level of service was outstanding. We will definitely return to dine again very shortly.

Perfect summer location. We sat outside on the terrace, wonderful view of Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf. Service was the best we have experienced, very attentive. Food was absolutely first class, not a complaint about anything. Bit pricy but it was well worth it.

Fab location, service polite and friendly if a tad slow. Food was slightly less spectacular than anticipated

We had an excellent early evening dinner, well it was suppose to be, but the staff made us so welcome our early meal lasted three hours. It was a lovely end to our Christmas festivities. We had the star deal and were welcomed and had very good service.
