Nice hotel, kind staff. We had 2 adults afternoon teas and one 'jungle afternoon tea' for kids, which was top!

This was a rather disappointing afternoon tea, it was expensive and uninspiring; £39 fonly 4 dry finger sandwiches, a glass of champagne and a small selection of sickly cakes. Service was friendly, but slow, and there was little atmosphere.

This afternoon tea experience was top! Although my friend and I got to the venue later than our appointment, we were made to feel very welcome and given the time to settle in before helping us choose the right afternoon tea option. Everything was on point, the scones were very delicious, the sandwiches too, our tea options were fab, the banana and pineapple mocktail was oh-so-heavenly and refereshing (and I thought I would hate it but the waitress said to trust her!). We were also given a complimentary glass of champers for free...just because they loved us both so much!! Over 3 hours later, then we were ready to leave! I hope to be back again at Le service, top experience!!

We wanted to have afternoon tea at a central location, so it was easy to reach after shopping on Oxford Street/ Regent Street. Service was very friendly and professional. We loved the scones with clotted cream and pineapple jam and also the attention to detail.

I booked for four of us to attend the 'Patisserie Party' as a Mother's Day present. When we arrived at Le Meridien we were informed that the Patisserie Party ceased to exist in December, even though I was able to book it in February. The staff were incredibly apologetic, helpful and polite, more than making up for the mix up of the booking (the fault of bookatable). We were able to have the standard afternoon tea and received 2 complimentary glasses of Prosecco. Firstly for the error in the booking and secondly for having to wait for a while to pay (problems getting the card machine). I cannot thank the staff enough for turning a disappointing mess up into an enjoyable dining experience. The food itself was nice, the sandwiches were rather dry however the cakes were delicious!

Rather disappointed. It was beautiful, and the service was nice. But the sandwiches were not tasty. Looking around, the people located at surrounding tables were not eating their sandwiches either. The scones, served with clotted cream and preserves were very good. The cakes were nice but I've had better. The proseccio was very good, as was the tea.
Not worth the price....even if it was offered at half the price.
