My Mother and I visited Le Garrick for a pre theatre meal. The staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was very tasty and really well priced. On a wet and cold evening, it was great to escape into this little place! Great atmosphere... would highly recommend!

Bringing a little piece of France to the West End since the 1980s, Le Garrick serves classic Gallic cuisine. A quaint setting filled with cosy nooks and crannies, Le Garrick is a popular haunt with theatre goes and stars of the stage.

With a nod to the owner’s upbringing in Toulouse, the Le Garrick menu offers sumptuous regional specialities. Fresh, home-cooked and wholesome, Le Garrick restaurant favourites include seared sea bass fillet with red pepper coulis and pea puree, or a homemade spiced lamb and beef burger with all the trimmings.

Renowned for its wine cellar, Le Garrick Covent Garden offers fine French blends, alongside meticulously chosen international bottles. For classic French indulgence, desserts include a gooey chocolate fondant, or tangy tarte au citron.

Drawing in a bohemian crowd of theatregoers and artists, Le Garrick London is filled with rustic brickwork, glossy bistro-style furnishings and expansive canvases. A homely setting, Le Garrick is 2 minutes’ walk from Leicester Square Tube Station.

We had a pre-theatre dinner here. The food and service was excellent. There was a great atmosphere and the location of the restaurant is perfect for the theatres.

Had a good meal and really excellent service. Although the set meal had a very limited choice it was excellent value for money.

Cosy, romantic with a good and intimate atmosphere. We dined downstairs. Food was tasty and although busy, service was friendly and prompt.

Le Garrick is a cosy venue serving great quality food at a reasonable price in the heart of Covent Garden

Staff were extremely attentive and friendly.
Our food was nearly good but for strange components such as goats cheese salad served on half a piece of sliced brown (Hovis?) bread and a very overlooked confit of duck.
Steak was good as were moules.
I'm not sure we will come again.

Nice Pre-Theatre menu, although very limited choice, i.e., a choice of only 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 deserts - I would have booked elsewhere if I had know. Having said that the food was lovely, staff very welcoming and attentive and i would return. Thanks for a great evening.

Beef bourguignon was disappointing and unappetising.
Chestnut purée with Savoy cabbage that comes with the duck was tasteless
