Food amazing but service sadly very slow and when we were finally seated it was obvious they hadn't saved a table for our booking as they shoehorned 3 of us onto a table for two- with all the Afternoon Tea paraphernalia it was very cramped. The chef was charming and came out and explained what the extras were, but she had forgotten my basic sandwich requests- theyhad been left in the kitchen and a waitress found them later when we asked.
It was a very busy Saturday afternoon in December so I would give it one more try before giving up on it because of the quality of the food and sweetness of some of the waitresses.

    Place was small but friendly.
Food was acceptable. Bread was cut too thick. The ham was shop bought.
Staff didn't rush you as in some places.

Went here for afternoon tea, the food selection was great, tasty, and overall ambience was spot on. The only thing I would recommend is to change the paper napkins to towels instead of tissue paper.

Good value afternoon service. Not the most welcoming of service as we were a party if 3 and the waitress claimed that the afternoon tea could only be served in multiples if 2. ( which was not mentioned in booking or on the website) After checking withe the chef this was resolved and the tea was of good quality for the occasion of celebrating my mothers birthday.

Afternoon tea selection was lovely, thank you. Service was great.

Good customer service. Welcomed on arrival. Wasn't an issue us arriving early. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Clean & tidy tables & seats.
Menu was explained, however had to inform them we'd booked in for an afternoon tea. Explained what was available. Very quick bringing food out. Explained what there was. However a few more minutes spent in presentation wouldn't have hurt. The afternoon tea came on a three tiered slate stand which was wonky when placed in table.
We weren't rushed. Left us on our own. Really sweet of the chef to come over and wish us a happy anniversary. Overall, good experience.

Plenty of nice food. Though feel the tea should be topped up throughout.

The afternoon Tea was very good with a lovely selection of sweet and savouries - the crème brulee was wonderful.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
The only negative was the toilet which, despite this being a relatively new café, looked in desperate need of refurbishing - particularly the toilet flush, seat and the door handle on the inside of the room.
