The restaurant was very busy for a Monday evening so we were very glad we had booked. We enjoyed our dinner, the staff were very welcoming and attentive and the food was good. The 'Deer' main course was excellent and the Asparagus starter was good but the amuse all lacked a bit of flavour!

We all loved everything. Excellent service. We loved that the kitchen was able to split all our dishes to share so we had our own style tasting menu

We enjoyed our visit. Felt welcomed, the food was very good, and good value. Very extensive wine list, and interesting selections.

Service slightly slow, especially as we had been informed that the booking slot was only 2 hours (but we were at least not pressed to leave!)

Only real negative was the noise level -- it's one of those restaurants with no soft furnishings, so chatter from other tables seems loud and drowns out your own converstaion. Not helped by one or two 'brayers' at other nearby tables.

Amazing food, options on tasting menu a little disappointing as very fish-based but a la carte was superb. Very attentive waiting staff and a great experience.

They had provided the dinner menus and also a tasting menu. When they had came to made the order I had noted that we'd be doing the Groupon deal and had our voucher ready.

They removed the Chef's tasting and ended up giving us a Tasting Menu that was cheaper, which is fair, but there are some things to note:
    1. The moment they found out that we were doing the Groupon, the service went down. The older and wider lady that served us was not as friendly. We also noted that with other patrons should would ask if they had enjoyed the food, etc. However, with us this was not the case.
    2. The Tasting Menu is very lacking and they did not follow it:
    a) Our first course wasn't really a course. In actuality it was just Amuse Bouche that they had already given out to everyone. I don't know if this should be considered a course when everyone else gets it and it's not considered a "course" for them.
    b) I had asked to have the cod dish replaced and asked what were alternative options and she said there was some sort of dumpling. I said that would be fine. Upon receiving the dish, there was absolutely no dumpling. It felt like a bunch of saucy nuts. Everyone at the table were trying to see if I'd ever find a dumpling in there.
    c) I had also asked if I could get a more basic salad instead of the beet salad and she just said no. I even said I'll do a plain caesar salad, but she shot it down quickly. In the end, the salad was just very beety, which is what you expected from a beet salad, however, I didn't eat any of it and another person at my table only ate half.

Really enjoyed this restaurant, the staff were really excellent and accommodating (the waiter gave us an extra cheese after we told him we did not like blue cheese). it was our first time doing a tasting menu and it was delicious, food was really well thought out and seasonal. favourite dishes were either the pre dessert or the poached cod. despite being groupon customers we were treated the same as every one else and would definitely come back.

We had the tasting menu with wine flight. It was a wonderful evening - the food was really interesting and tasty, the wines were unusual and very well chosen and the service was excellent.

Food was absolutely divine, Presentation was high end and meticulous. We couldn't fault it in anyway. The wine was reasonably priced and the service impeccable.
