One of best overall dining experiences, flawless in every measure. Been to others of his restaurants, always superb, and London was spot on and then some!!

One of the West End's most desirable restaurants, L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon serves simple yet exquisite French cuisine courtesy of multi-award-winning celebrity chef Joël Robuchon. Already with several accolades to his name, Joël Robuchon's Soho restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star and 3 AA Rosettes.

Influenced by Japanese restaurants, the layout of L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon encourages an engaging dining experience. The eating counter surrounds the open kitchen on the ground floor, inviting diners to converse with the chefs whilst watching them prepare their meal. Unique to Joël Robuchon's London restaurant, you can also interact with other diners whilst sitting opposite each other. A more conventional restaurant setting can be found in La Cuisine on the first floor, where the experience is similar to dining in the kitchen itself.

Within short walking distance of Covent Garden and Leicester Square underground stations, the Soho setting of this internationally acclaimed restaurant makes it perfect for a pre or post-theatre meal in the West End of London. Nearby theatres around this restaurant include the New Ambassador's Theatre, Piccadilly Theatre, Palace Theatre and London Arts Theatre. The comfortable, stylish ambience makes L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon an ideal restaurant in Covent Garden for romantic meals, business dining and special occasions. Valet parking is available and a smart casual dress code is operated (no shorts or trainers).

A very pleasant experience. The foie gras was amazing , the artichoke salad and hache beef were good, And the desert and chocolates excellent. The portions were smaller than i would have liked.

Disappointing. Perfect service and really kind and nice service BUT JOel failed completely in creativity . In a tasting menu you can not serve THE SAME MASHED POTATOES BASE IN 4 of the 8 plates . Dani García never would have done that . Also , some of the dressings were repetitive and redundant. Sorry but we will not come back

Awful. Table booked for 8:30 ended up being sat at the counter at 10:00 after 45 mins of being messed around. Wish we'd given up and gone elsewhere. Service beyond slow and into negligent with us having to ask for things many times (drinks especially). Heard the manager making equally meaningless apologies to at least 3 other groups of diners about delays, mistakes, etc over the course of dinner. The food itself was ok but not mind-blowing. Starters were alright, but overall the food never reached the heights I'd expect from a Michelin Starred restaurant with the steak being a low point as it was very greasy and over-salted. Wish I'd read more reviews beforehand and steered clear.

Outstanding food. I tried their Chicken broth with cheese ravioli. It was very good. The other thing I had was roasted Lobster in a sauce, which was simply wonderful. Lobster is usually good anywhere, but their Lobster was truly great. The service was efficient and courteous. The whole experience was excellent.

Superb food and service and although they got the timing wrong for our theatre performance afterwards it was a degustation night to remember

Lovely atmosphere....food was excellent! The entrees arrived a bit late and it took more than half an hour to get a table we had already reserved.

This was one of the hotter days of the year,
Water served was tepid. Soon resolved with iced water.
2 cold beers were ordered. After a longish wait only one arrived. Soon resolved with a second one.
The beers were delivered from the bar on the second floor.
As we were the only diners at this stage and the bar is only two floors away. why the delay.
This was a family lunch. Clients would not have been impressed at this stage.
After this disappointing start things improved and we enjoyed the food and the staff were very friendly.
