Excellent atmosphere and service!

I had a very bad experience here this time round, food took over an hour to come, they got my order wrong (tried charging for the extra mistake), bought fajitas to the table with one tortilla wrap, had to ask for extra parts of my order. I usually have a great time here, maybe this was an anomaly. I'm hoping it was.

Terribly slow service - drinks took 20-40 minutes to arrive, starters took 40 mins and mains another 40 mins. Food quality was average, lots of dishes sat on the kitchen ledge under hot lamps waiting for ages before they were brought out - unfortunately having an open kitchen is only a good thing when you are organised and things are running to plan - on our visit it only served to highlight the chaos. Our waitress was friendly but didn't make any attempt to apologise about the waiting time and when we made a point of not paying the service charge on the receipt she just grinned awkwardly. An unsatisfactory evening and I won't bother going back.

Atmosphere was buzzing. Very busy which was only a slight problem as drinks took a while to arrive.
Food was fantastic and our waiter was lovely.
Only negative the ladies toilets did let this restaurant down. That's why I've given 4 stars and not 5.

The service was generally good considering how busy it was but we didn't receive any free cava as promised when we booked for the special event. They also didn't take our deposit paid in advance off of the bill until we sent it back - I wonder how many people got caught out by this.

Went for valentine's day and was supposed to get the free glass of cava which never came, asked one of the waiters after our starter arrived and said he'd bring it over but didn't. Then had a charge of £10 for it on the bill!? What happened to it being free? Otherwise all was good.

The food was lovely, but it was really busy. We had to wait for our table and then the service was slow. In fact we gave up trying to have a pudding or coffee as we were bored of waiting to be served. The tables were very close together, so a neighbouring table with loud screechy ladies around it, dominated our table space, so it was difficult to talk or be heard. This made the evening not as enjoyable as it could have been.

Lovely food, the patatas bravas was particularly good. However the service wasn't, my friend and I struggled to get the waiters attention for the dessert menu and in the end we had to go and get menus ourselves. We also couldn't get his attention for more water and had to get our own water bottles out of our bags to refill our glasses.
