We went to Las Iguanas for our first Valentine's Day together and we were definitely not disappointed. The food was fantastic and so tasty, our waiter was very attentive and the price was very reasonable for the excellent food and service we received. Very happy overall and would definitely go there again!

First visit to this place and will be our last.
Booked a table here Friday night, the reviews looked good so though we would try it. For starters nachos which were pretty naff to be honest so bit dissappointed starting off but the worse was yet to come. My partner ordered a £25 T bone steak which by far was two of the worst steaks I've ever seen been served out. He asked for rare and it came out more well done but didn't look right to eat and the taste said it all so sent it back. Then they sent out another which was even more worse. Grey inside not pink or bloody. Looked like steak that had been cooked a couple days ago and sent back out. My partner didn't feel it was even edable so we sent it back and asked for the bill. We asked for the manger and he took the money off and a little more as my partner hadn't eaten other than the nachos. Which we were happ with. The staff were very polite and apologetic couldn't of asked for a better service in that respect. But that steak was bad and to charge £25 is disgusting.

Excellent service and food. Different and interesting. Our waiter knew the menu - had obviously tasted all the dishes - and was able to clarify and advise. Loved it.

Very poor I'm afraid to say! 1stly we were left standing by the bar 10 mins after our booked table time! We were told by the meet & greet person that the waitress 'had forgotten about us!?' For which he apologised. It was so busy in there they looked too full and very few staff! We were told there would be a wait but we were OK with this as it was my partners Birthday and we were on a nice relaxed night out with her parents! However.... it took over an hour to get our starter, but it was nice food! It then took a further 45 mins for the main course. Our food was very bland with no garnishing at all on the plates! Even the little pot of sauce I received with my steak had clearly been popped out of a container as it hadn't even been stirred and was still in its original block shape within the pot. My future mother in laws food was inedible. The seavass was so small it was a joke and the sweet potato fries were burnt and inedible. We called the waiter over, who was excellent to be fair all night and complained. He offered a different course or free starter but my future mother in law was so put off and we didn't want to wait again that she refused anything further. We did get a reduction on our bill but quite frankly I wasn't wanting that, especially on my partners birthday. I did complete the customer service card at the end of the meal saying how poor the service and food was and also how good our waiter was abd I have asked for a call from the manager but I'm afraid to say it probably won't happen! Typical case of a place being too big and not paying for enough staff to cope properly with its customers! We eat out regularly but will never go to a Las Iguanas again after this experience. Very poor indeed and I would recommend to anyone else that they should go somewhere else other than here!!!
