It was very busy. Nachos weren't up to scratch a bit soggy. Gambas & Calamari were good
Sea bass was good but a bit cold. Burritos good
    Churros good

Lovely atmosphere busy with fabulous music. Tables were far enough apart to have an intimate dining experience. Unfortunately our waiter gave the impression he was harassed and disappeared at one point leaving all the tables he was serving for a lengthy period. The food was tasty but not show stopping (son is a talented chef so probably unrealistic standards).

Brie and mango empanadas are incredible! Cannot find a fault in anything from the menu!

First time here so chose from the Rio menu - less choice but so much easier to select. All our dishes were so tasty.

Nice interior, quite busy when we went because of the festival but most people were sat outside. Got the 5 tapas dishes for £24.95 offer; calamari which were very good!! And ceviche which was raw white fish soaked in a marinade type thing which was okay, the grated carrot that came with that dish was very tasty. We also had the nachos with shredded beef which were good, a good portion size for two people. We also got some duck and onion in tortillas which were good too. The prawns we got were amazing, the sauce with them was definitely the highlight of the meal for me!! The portions were quite small so we got dessert; six churros which were not good. They had put too much salt in the mix so they tasted like big chips. Not enjoyable. I might go back and try something else though, because their menu was biiig!! Staff were nice and we were served quickly which was good.

Overall ok but very noisy as so many restaurants are. Quite a wait till ordering but it was mid Edinburgh festival. Very cheery reception which was nice. Food pretty good. Almost too much choice.
