Booked table in advance as it was an international rugby match day, just as well as restaurant was packed, glad we did, great service, very relaxed with music in background and food delicious

me and my friend had a nice time in restaurant. When we arrived we got sat down pretty quickly although its Friday nite its really fully packed. Once sat down waitress explained 241 cocktails etc. I have been to las iguanas a few times before everytime is different experience. As food goes I always order same thing because I wont get disappointed or wont like it, but this time me and my friend went for something new we never tried we went for the prawn/fish in coconut sauce with rice , when it arrived the sauce was in huge bowl compare to little rice on a plate to us its uneven balance either don't give us that much sauce or give us bit more rice. So we express our opinion to waitress which she replied that's how it comes! and if we want more we need to order more even when we order more rice it still came in a tiny little pot? I don't think I will order this kind dish again, so we just give up eaten our food as we were so hungry by then. Cocktails were in a tiny size glass usually is in a bigger glass? not sure if that's cause its 241, Dispite all this we still order some dessert I order coconut set pudding and my friend had cheesecake, I wasn't very keen on my choice maybe its not what I expected it to be. Overall it was ok but food wasn't upto scratch and amount on plate cocktails need to be serve in bigger glass, Service was rushed and we feel been hurry to get us out there.

Made a booking for 2 people, but felt like we were just an extra table squeezed in on the side which was disappointing as I booked thinking that I would have a nicer table than just turning up and having what was available.
Service was quick and food was very nice!! Definitely recommend having the tapas dishes!

It was my friend and I first visited las iguanas. We chose the vegetarian burritos as my friend is a vegetarian. The meal was lovely and we both enjoyed it very much. The cocktails were very nice too, we felt they were very good value for money.. We were also impressed with the choices for vegetarians and people with dietary needs. Well done! ??

Excellent food. Service good. Children catered for. A great place to go to with little ones.

Usual high standards and excellent helpful staff upstairs. Bar slow downstairs and barman appeared completely unaware of who was next in the queue, gave up and went back upstairs and our table was ready fortunately.

The food was very good but it was a shame the service and ambiance didn't match. We were shown to a table in a pokey little corner, right next to a loud, large group and left alone with the menus. We didn't see our waiter for 10 minutes, nobody came to take any drinks orders or offer us any snacks while we chose. When we finished our meal, we had to sit for a further 5 minutes waiting for the plates to be removed - don't get me wrong, they weren't busy! All the tables around us cleared out, so we were on our own, apart from the 4 different members of staff who walked by us to clear the other tables or wipe them down!! All looked at us, but then walked away again! Finally, one other member of staff showed some other people to the table behind us, but looked over our table whilst they walked past again... guilt must have taken hold because they came back and took our plates eventually.
