Lovely afternoon tea with free flowing bubbles. Good food - gluten free bread was a little dry but the rest was great.
Regular afternoon tea was excellent too.
Looked after very well - not rushed.
Would recommend.

Really nice vegan afternoon tea. Would have preferred a few more savouries and less chocolate pots ( and maybe a scone) but that's just personal taste!

Excellently relaxing afternoon with service that was both attentive and informative. A special thanks to Phillip from Ireland, whose engaging conversation, I particularly enjoyed. I would recommend this venue and its staff unreservedly.

Lovely setting, window table overlooking Marble Arch and Hyde Park. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Sandwich selection small so we paid extra for two more rounds; in my experience most settings provide extra sandwiches when asked without charging. Scones and cakes were delicious. Prosecco was topped up enough tines for us, overall a very pleasant experience.

We had afternoon tea at Lanes of London on 28th Dec, which meaning it was nice and quiet after the Xmas rush. The service was friendly, the sandwiches were excellent and the cakes were delicious. Overall it was a great afternoon tea in a lovely setting.

Restaurant itself was inviting and staff were pleasant throughout, although table initially given was right by the service door which is automatically operated by a kick-panel right by one guest which took a good kicking to open sometimes so was uncomfortable; ambience for afternoon tea started well but unfortunately went a little downhill as a result of over-energetic guests at another table (not the fault of the restaurant); we were relocated to a quieter area of the restaurant though which resolved both matters mentioned; food presented was of good quality as expected, and strongly suggest you take up the offer of free-flowing Prosecco for 2 hours if it is available! If you are looking for more v-f-m quantity-wise perhaps you should look elsewhere as you are also paying a small premium for the location here (views of Marble Arch and Hyde Park from windows of restaurant). We booked specifically for the location so this was not a problem for us.
