We dined at lunchtime on Sunday, and were delighted with the food, service and ambiance. Only thing we could fault is that the roast potato with the roast beef could have been a bit crispier... but that was it! Rabbit lasagne was delicious... ceviche fresh and tangy... desserts sublime!

My husband was running late, so they waited until I had finished reading the menu and unobtrusively provided me with a newspaper to read, and then quietly took it away when he arrived. Superb service, warm staff, friendly atmosphere and wonderful food - the best meal I have eaten for a while.

Saturday lunchtime over the Jubilee weekend was not too busy nor too empty: just right. It's grand enough for a special occasion, yet sufficiently relaxed and informal to make one feel welcome. A helpful sommelier with good judgement and advice added greatly to the pleasure of the visit.

Really enjoyed the set menu for lunch. Plenty of choice and nothing disappointed. Rabbit lasagne was a special treat. As it was a sunny day we were able to enjoy a table by the windows which were opened onto the terrace. Best of both worlds.

A delicious dinner for a special occasion. Wonderful food, excellent service - discreet and helpful without being overbearing. Sophisticated decor - the only comment we would make is that the tables are rather close together, and some of the bigger groups were quite noisy on occasions [obviously enjoying themselves!] A very enjoyable experience overall - and we would certainly go again for a special evening.
