Close to the world-famous pier, La Tasca Bournemouth serves up authentic tapas dishes in a lively setting. The trendy and rustic interior is filled with assorted wall art, wooden floors and plenty of wine bottles are displayed across the ceiling.

Since the first La Tasca restaurant opened in 1993, the menu has won a string of awards, and stays committed to showcasing the finest available ingredients and bold, natural flavours. Headed by the signature tapas range, choose from a range of colourful paellas, tender slow-cooked meats and sharing platters piled high with artisan meats, cheeses and breads. Sweet creations include Spanish-style gelato, and sharing churros with gooey chocolate sauce.

Complementing the food offerings, the La Tasca drinks list is filled with fine Spanish wines, summery fruit-filled sangrias and traditional sherries. A favourite with families, La Tasca in Dorset also offers a range of miniature tapas especially for children.

Surrounded by shoppers bustle of the Avenue, La Tasca in Bournemouth is an 8-minute walk from Bournemouth Pier Theatre.

La Tasca is a great place for a group booking. The staff are friendly and keen to please. Tapas food is excellent and being able to share dishes contributes greatly to the social element. Add jugs of Sangria and you feel as if you're holidaying in Spain!

After a very long wait(1 1/2 hours) for our main meals due to an inexperienced chef, which we had 20% knocked off our final bill for. The food was tasty but because of the wait we weren't suitably fulfilled. On another Day(it was Sunday before bank holiday) our waiter informed me that wouldn't happen??? It shouldn't happen any day regardless of time of year.

As a party of 4 we all really enjoyed our food /drinks. Everything was very well flavoured and cooked to perfection. Our first experience of La Tasca but definitely will make a return trip!

My other half and I had one of the best meals we've ever had here. The staff were friendly, attentive and really made the place feel authentic. The food was amazing and the price wasn't that bad considering. The only flaw was that we ordered a bottle of Shiraz and we were simply given the bottle. We did not get a chance to "test" it, and we wish we had because for some reason it was fizzy! But apart from that, excellent!
