Showcasing an inventive range, the La Porte Des Indes menu offers beautifully aromatic flavours, including luscious lamb kebabs with smoked chilli and fruit chutney, or stir-fried beef with roast cinnamon and coconut. A sumptuous vegetarian menu at La Porte Des Indes restaurant presents winning recipes, sourced from diverse regions of India.

A truly unique spectacle, the Jungle Bar at Les Porte Des Indes London honours quaint customs, with guests being invited to dispose of peanut shells on the floor of the rainforest-style space. Refreshing cocktails and a sophisticated wine selection complement the robust Indian flavours.

Really enjoyed everything for the Jazz Brunch-jazz music, food (exquisite!) and the service. Particularly liked the land and chicken curries and the pistachio dessert.

The food is outstanding, salmon and creole fruits . Our friends said its the best salmon they have had. Naan could be better and service is quick but matire'de is not very welcoming and staff are not that friendly yet they are very efficient. Lovely décor and ambience. It is very pricey but worth it for an occasion.

The BEST Indian food in London! The food was faultless, colourful and rich. The service was fast, professional and the decor or the place felt I was not in central London but in a palace in India. Incredible.

It took me right back to a guest house we stayed in Pondicherry last year with all the palms. the atmosphere was lovely and the front of house staff making us feel welcomed. All the staff were attentive. We chose the bit of everything menu. Everything was superbly flavoured and I enjoyed it all. My only criticism would be the butter chicken where I thought the tomato sauce was domineering alongside the other main course dishes. Even the gin and tonic was fresh and beautifully presented. I absolutely loved the whole experience.

We have booked the restaurant to celebrate our Christmas well in advance for the 24/12 at 21:30. On the day of the reservation, at 17:00, I received a call from the restaurant explaining that they would close at 22:30 as transport would be interrupted for Christmas, and asked if we could come earlier.

I completely understand that staff need to go home and deserve to be with their families, but as a Londoner, it's well known that transport links are finished during the Christmas period. Calling us to solve this issue hours before the actual reservation just showed us poor management of such a big day.

The food was delicious as always, but service was rushed and not as usual, obviously due to the approaching closure of the restaurant (even though we managed to arrive at 20:15 to make things easier for them).

As someone who regularly goes there, I was fairly disappointed. The issues we had are easy to predict and could have been avoided by simply not allowing reservations past a certain time on that date.

Great night out at La Porte. The food is quite good for an Indian Restaurant in London. The vegetarian options are good, food was nice and the meat options were fairly good.
I still love the setting and ambience of the place.

    The meal was great

I would like a wider range of dishes to share starters and mains

I found the greeting on arrival poor compared to my previous visits
