Great service, food was amazing, best steak I've had in Edinburgh. The only suggestion I would make is to have draught beer available on tap, the beer section wasn't great. Other than that, 5 star restaurant!

    I was in Edinburgh with a friend of mine and for days we were talking about trying the famous Angus steak. So we booked at Kyloe Restaurant and everything was absolutely perfect, starting from the location. Great atmosphere with a relaxing music in the background and the soft warm light. We had a couple of starters that were a good combination of flavours. I got the lamb shoulder with a creamy Greek style sour sause, very very nice, perfectly balanced. But the best part was the 300 gr ribeye Angus beef steak that followed, rare of course. Absolutely delicious, very tender and juicy, the flavour was 10/10 and I had it with some chips and bacon gratin on the side, so very tasty, too! And to finish the red velvet cake with strawberries and lemon meringues was very well presented and even tastier. The drinks were excellent, a good selection of wines, I had a glass of Valpolicella, very very smooth. The waiter was friendly and very good at doing his job with particular attention to every detail. All was worth the visit, if in Edinburgh again, I'd definitely go back there again.

    Fantastic service and food was excellent and presented beautifully. We shared the muscles which were superb. Was on a first date and we're meeting again thanks to you guys ??
    Confused slightly by the unisex toilets though this should be explained to guests on arrival

    Waiting staff was impeccable, my friend commented how attentive all were during the service and how they went out of their way to make our dining experience special.
    The food was succulent, we were wowed by the quality of beef and the execution of the cooking. Sides were nice but the Cote de Boeuf and Sirloin were out of this world.
    The only thing that could be improved is their mojitos, to be fair on the staff, we sent back the first one as it did not taste right, they did not fuss and gave us another one and checked if it was better. We did not have the heart to say it wasn't. That being said their white Russians and bloody Marys' were top notch.
    We ended the meal on a high with the red velvet cake, utterly delicious.

    Overall great experience and would definitely go back

    Great meal - steaks done to perfection and sides were excellent - a very ungunky slaw, rocket/tomato/parmesan salad and lovely potato and bacon gratin. starters were an excellent Caesar salad and home cured pastrami with lovely crunchy crostini. Informal dining with very attentive staff.

    Very civilised ambience where you aren't competing with music/noise from other diners, restaurant nice and cosy so you can wear a nice dress without freezing. Excellent food, beautifully cooked, great service, knowledgeable staff and perfect lighting.

    Squid tempura portion was little. Excellent sirloin on the bone. Great reception. Paper serviettes are not according to the restaurant.
