Kyloe is always very good. We ordered mussels & fish selection starters and special sirloin and fillet. Everything was excellent apart from the sirloin which was not cooked as requested and my wife didnt enjoy it all. My wife did return it to have it cooked more however I think the damage was done by this point. She wouldn't say as she is quite quiet. After the meal I did say to the waitress, who was fantastic and it was removed from bill. This was a special day for my wife and I and it was the 1st time she had been to Kyloe. I had persuaded her to go to Kyloe rather than Steak!. I am a little disappointed for her.
My meal was excellent and the fillet was cooked perfectly. We had nice wine, whisky, port and coffee too. I hope to come back again in the near future.

Underwhelming food, the haunch of venison was good value for money but the accompanying lentils were the only source of flavour on the plate. The high expectations of the steak was let down by an unexpectedly dry fillet with little charring. Deserts were best avoided altogether, out-of-a-box is the best way they could be described. Even the complimentary bread was not quite complimentary, warming up stale bread feels wrong.
For the prices being charged there's better food to be had elsewhere (and I'm sure far better steak).
On a high note service was quick and attentive.

I loved the ambience and cosy atmosphere. Steak was as expected cooked to perfection. The cynosure of the evening was steak platter where the chef gives you a brief overview of different meat cut and its pairing with sides and sauces.
